Weird sizing and stability issues

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
8

These fit great out of the box, but after about a week they fit sloppy now. I can crank down the laces to make them work, but they still feel sloppy. These shoes are comfortable and are fine for road or easy trails, but my feet were slipping around and rolled my ankles on more technical trails.

The best trail to road shoe I've owned

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Coming from great experiences with Salomon trail shoes I wasn't sure what to expect from these, but after one 10 mile trail and road run I'm all in on them. Great tread stability with amazing comfort. Will likely get a second pair. In terms of some sizing issues that I'm seeing others say, I wear a 10.5 or 11, so I went with the 10.5 and they fit perfect. I do have wide feet and these fit great for not explicitly being cut for wide feet.

Runs very large!

I returned this product before using it

I purchased these shoes, tried them on & immediately put them back in the box... I normally wear a 10 or 10 1/2. Reading other reviews, I sized down & ordered a 9 1/2. It was at least half a size too big. I can't speak to durability, but they were very comfortable. Here's hoping the size 9 fits!

Generally, looking for a shoe to replace the Speedgoat Evo, either road or trail. This shoe is not bad, but at 180 dollars I find it doesn't measure up the SG Evo. Size 11 is what I usually use and that felt fine. Shoe upper is one piece, no tongue. Standing upright, if I rolled my feet outward, laterally, my feet felt secure within the shoe - no swimming at midfoot or heel. For me, the roof of the toe box felt low, and in general, I felt too much of the shoe - the lacing method on top of the foot and the roof of the toe box on my toes when I flexed my forfoot (climb simulation). The shoe has a bit less suspension (midsole foam) than something like the SG Evo. I'm nervous about taking out a 180 dollar shoe and then it doesn't work out. For me, the SpeedGoat Evo (if you can find your size) is perfection. I'm currently using the Hoka Rincons for trail use and so far so good - California dry trails, rad on climbs and descents+ off camber. The Rincons are 115 dollars. The Terrex might be rad, but I don't see 180 dollars of value in this product. Me - Endurance thrasher all my life, 49 years old, neutral landings, 155lbs. Skateboarding, BMX, Road Racing, MTB racing, and trail running/ racing..... weeeeee

Great Training Shoe

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This shoe is perfect for mid to long distance runs. I use it multiple times a week for training. Not my go to for speed work. The sizing for me runs about a half-size big, I was able to try these on before I bought them. Planning on doing an ultra distance run in them later this summer. One of my most favorite trail shoes of the summer.
