The sky is spitting, not quite enough to break the heat, but we still need to get in our tempo run, so we lace up the Terrex Speed Ultra Trail Running Shoe for reliable control as we bound over wet, technical singletrack. The drainage-ready uppers keep puddles from forming inside, while the gravel bike–inspired lug pattern gives us the traction we need during our higher speed bursts.

Questionable quality
I would love to give these 5 stars but I've had two pairs of these and every shoe has split across the sole where your foot bends. It's not a big deal most of the time, but you are reminded of it when you run into water. Other than that they are good shoes if you're in the market for a faster, lighter, and less cushioned train shoe.

racing flat profile for the trail
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A grippy trail shoe with a low profile to help prevent twisted ankles.

Best trail running shoe I have owned!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great platform for trail running. Just the right amount of support, cushion, and traction. Very impressed with the responsiveness of the ultra boost. Upper is breathable and comfortable. Adequate tow box for a roomy feel on trails.

Best trail shoe I have worn in years.
I bought these in hopes Adidas comfort translated to trail shoes, and I was very impressed! I run trails frequently and use my trail shoes during mountain hikes. Typically I wear Altimas as they are proven to be great. I have to say, this Adidas surpassed my Altimas in style, comfort, and support. My foot was never in pain from large rocks on the trail and my feet/knees felt great for miles. The grip is amazing and kept me from slipping on numerous rock faces. I recommend wearing trail socks with these as the heel tab can rub a little if you go with ankle socks, but trail socks made it perfect. If you are debating if this shoe will last and help you during your adventure, GET THEM. I would continue to buy these shoes on the future.

Great all-around running shoes
My favorite all-around shoes, ever. Have used these for everything from 5Ks to 100Ks. They do great on trails, the low-profile sole gives excellent stability and control. They're also totally fine on roads, though I feel bad using them for road-only runs as opposed to something more disposable. But as even my trail runs involve some road getting to the trailhead and back, this is great. Because of their versatile nature, these are my go-to sports shoe for travel - they're great for hiking & trail running, passable for road running, and very light. The upper is great, it's durable while being light and breathable, and dries quickly. The sole grips extremely well in both dry and wet, while having a lug pattern that works for both trail and road. These feel a tad wider than other Adidas running shoes like the Adizero line, which is prefer as my feet tend to swell a bit on really long runs (towards the 50 mile mark).

Light and comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable, breathable and light. Were slightly tight at the start (I do have wide feet) but after couple of wears were perfect. Love the colours.

Great show for running and hiking
This is not the most comfortable show but you give that up for how lite it is! Great for running and hiking. I have done many miles in these shoes doing both.

Beautiful shoe. Very tight. And maybe too fancy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful shoe. Was really looking forward to run with those but they are very very snug and quite stiff. Not sure I would want to run trails with those. They are almost too fancy to run on rocks and roots. I returned.
