Best shorts & Pants - I would live in these

Currently in Egypt - these pants and shorts are amazing. In the city, in town, in the desert, at the pyramids, at a restaurant. These hold up on all conditions!

I think I could wear these everywhere….

Great short so far. Love the material, they do feel like a short that is perfect for all occasions.

Best active shorts

I use these shorts for golf, going out, casual gatherings and hiking. They look great and feel even better.

Best line of pants hands down!

Every pair of EVERYWHERE pants and shorts I onw are absolutely amazing. Most versatile line of pants that I can use anywhere. Love them mostly for kayaking, climbing, hiking, playing drums, and almost anything else.

If you need a tough short these might be okay but if you want a comfy travel, hiking and everyday activity, these are too rough. Like sand paper.

Great shorts

Great shorts, very light and comfortable. The only negative I have for these shorts and other 686 pants are the pockets are a little shallow. Especially for clothing made for active people, I think the pockets should be a bit deeper since phones are getting bigger too. I bike to work and I always feel like my phone will slip out of the pocket when wearing 686 shorts/pants. Despite this "negative" point I do own multiple other pairs of 686 pants/clothing and find that they are quality made, very lightweight and comfortable.

4 Year Review

About 9 months out of the year these shorts have seen weekly use for the last 4 years. These have become some of my favorite shorts I’ve ever owned. I’ve done tons of cycling in them and still not worn out. Fishing, kayaking, hiking, camping, yard work, you name it. Still going strong. Back pocket is a little bit stretched from keeping the wallet there. Stitching finally gave out on the pocket where it’s mean to hold a pocket knife clip. That’s from constant weight of a leatherman tho, and these being very light shorts. Both of those things have happened to basically all other pants/shorts I’ve had in one way or another. I would like to see the same fabric of the shorts used for the interior of the front pockets. Overall I’m beyond impressed with these and since my original purchase back in 2020 i now have a second pair of shorts and 3 pants. Keep up the great work!

Perfect shorts - had to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect shorts - had to pick up another pair. They're a great length and the weight and stretch of the fabric is great. Most shorts can't offer the feel of these without sacrificing pockets and/or they'll just look like board shorts or athletic shorts, not here.
