Repeat Purchase - Solid eBike Chain

I run a 1x Shimano GRX groupset on a class 3 ebike. The bike shipped with a KMC chain that was adequate. When time I replaced the KMC with an HG701. The 701 chain, while ebike rated, seemed to have mediocre shifting and poor performance pretty early at around 600-700 miles of use. The first CN-E8000 on this bike has had very clean shifting over 900+ miles and still going. Chain checker still at relatively decent life left.
