Outdoor Friendly
The first day was a walking tour through a vineyard. There was dirt, cover crop and uneven ground. The second day was an offroad tour in my Raptor R. It was a super technical boulder crawling adventure that required frequent trips walking to select the best line through the boulders. My MERRELLS performed flawlessly on both occasions. Lots of ankle support and traction(:-)

Always excellent
Over many years I have continued to purchase these hikers. They are rugged, fit well and are very reasonably priced.

Great hiking shoe
Fourth pair of Moab’ s . Two pair women but switched the men’s do to my size 12 foot. Women’s 12 cut just a tad short causing sore toes. Went to men’s 11 which fit great, arch, support not to wide. Our group section hikes the AT - love these shoes !

At last the perfect hiking shoes for my long toes!
I am a female hiker who hasn't been able to find hiking shoes that don't blister my long toe toenail even when when I buy a half size larger. At last I've found my solution with the Moab 3! I'm an avid hiker and do on average, 1400' elevation gain hikes. Uphill, no problem. Downhill, however is the real test for me and hiking shoes. ln all other hiking shoes and boot brands over the years, I've ended up w under the toenail blisters under the first two toes of both feet. After hiking about 25 miles so far in my new Men's Merrell Moab 3, I am happy to report - no toe soreness or beginning of blisters! Thank you, Merrell.

Best Hiking Shoe I Ever Had
This is the third pair of Moabs that I have owned and they are the best hiking shoe I have ever had. After 5 years of hiking, my last pair held up with almost no deterioration, just some minor wear along the top of the heal. I have completely abandoned higher and heavier hiking boots and the Moabs are my go-to hiking shoe for day hiking and week-long backpacking trips.

Now For Over-Pronators
Could not use. The shoe is was uncomfortable and not the neutral shoe that I wanted and had received in the past.

sore feet at end of the day
I have worn nothing but Merrill Moab for the last 10-12 years and they have been fantastic. Oddly, this latest pair I bought is not as comfortable, even though they're all broken in now. By the end of a long day my feet hurt a bit. If I wear one of my old pairs everything‘s great. They are all the same size so I’m not sure what the problem is
