Why We Like The Five Ten Freerider Pro Cycling Shoe
Whether we are hitting the jump lines or just cruising around, having mountain bike-specific shoes makes a huge difference. The Five Ten Freerider Pro Cycling Shoe is one of our top choices when we need a no-nonsense mountain bike shoe that has all the necessary features. An impact-resistant toebox protects our feet from rock strikes, and a molded EVA midsole absorbs energy from hard landings. The synthetic upper is super durable, quick-drying, and abrasion-resistant, and a lace closure ensures we get the perfect fit every time. To stay locked into the pedals, Five Ten used their signature Stealth S1 Dotty rubber outsole to provide us an excellent grip with platform pedals, and a durable rubber compound stands up to the wear and tear of pedal pins. Finally, an Ortholite sock liner and footbed keep us comfortable all ride long.

Nice shoe for average width feet
Quality is great but the fit was narrow at the sides for my somewhat (but not extremely) wide foot. It doesn’t look like the rubber material on the sides will stretch or break in. The toe box is roomy and comfortable.

Never again
Never again, five-ten went to shambles when adidas bought eh brand. I bought this shoes 3 months ago and the soles started to get cracked due to the friction with the pedals. Aren't this shoes designed for this kind off activity. I recommend Ride Concepts for all you riders.

Scores high for fit, function, and style.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fit and look. Soles do not slip from flat pedals. Almost like being clipped in but not.

Good shoe but runs narrow in width.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well made Mountainbike shoes of good quality which perform well . My only issue is they slightly run on the small size especially regarding width . If you order these you would probably order a half or one size larger if you have wide feet.

Okay to walk on pavement all day.
Wore them all day, eight hours of driving and eleven hours of walking around the Las Vegas Strip. My feet weren't super sore. I'm looking forward to using them on a bike.
