Why We Like The Thule EasyFold XT eBike Carrier
Thule's EasyFold XT Bike Carrier offers a fully foldable, and removable, two-bike hitch rack that is as convenient as it is sturdy. Adapting to the ever-changing bike landscape, the EasyFold XT's high-load capacity allows transport of e-bikes and heavy mountain bikes, while the mounting of said heavy bikes is made easy through detachable bike arms with lockable Thule AcuTight torque limiter knobs that click when optimal torque is reached.
Thule made sure to give a large distance between the wheel holders to accommodate bikes with large wheel bases, as well as a small, foldable platform that you can stand on for improved accessibility. Not to mention that you can still access the trunk when the bikes are mounted thanks to a smart foot pedal tilt that lowers them horizontally out of the way when you need to grab gear. Plus, you can lock your bikes to the bike rack and your bike rack to the receiver with the included Thule locks when you need to get gas or a bite to eat.

Stripped threads on part that goes into the car hi
Up until my last use I loved this carrier. But when I went to use it next it had somehow gotten the threads stripped and I can not tighten the carrier into the car hitch. I bought this new less that 3 years ago and am very frustrated. We wanted to take the bikes to go on a rail trail and it just wasn't safe. Very upset that our plans couldn't happen. The company that sold it to us has closed so not sure what to do. Very expensive so never expected this.

Plug and play installation
Very easy and intuitive installation. Bike took a few minutes to brace the 1st time, and then it gets easier each time afterward

Thule XT
Easy to use ramp is great to use Bike platform is too short wheels are on the edge of platform would need some kind of extension as our ebikes barely sit on plaform

EasyFold is Easy
This is a great rack for all bikes...including my lighter weight e-bikes. The rack is fairly light, easy to install. The ramp is a bit less than perfect...but the rest of the rack is sweet!

Thule EasyFold XT — thumbs down
I bought the Thule EasyFold XT recently, and I am very disappointed. Based on the description and you-tube video, it wasn't as advertised or shown in video.

Great rack once attached.
I love it and can use the ramp. However getting the rack onto the hitch for this 82 year old, 130 lb female is just about impossible. Such a tight fit that I have to leave it on all Season as once it’s on, I cannot get it off. Took me an hour yesterday to put on for the Season and it is not quite right and cannot lock it and it just needs one little wiggle so I can get it locked. I would not recommend for an older female as just too heavy to lift etc. Great if you have someone to put it on and take off.

EasyFold
I bought this last month. It arrived on time and in good shape. We used it for the first time this week. It took a couple of tries to figure out the best orientation on the rack for a Trek Verve 3+ and a Specialized Turbo Tero 3. The clamps and straps hold the bikes firmly to the rack. It feels solidly attached to a 2" receiver hitch with very little movement when loaded with the 2 ebikes. It has a good rise from the receiver to the rear of the rack making it too tall for the folding ramp to be useful when loading bikes on the back of a Ram 1500. Waiting on a hitch for our minivan amd suspect the rack height will make the ramp very usable.

Easy to use
We bought this at the recommendation of a friend. He assisted us with first time setup and use. It is very easy to use and has some handy features. We’re looking forward to bicycling at various sites around the country thanks to our new bike rack!

Thule EasyfoldXT
We were looking for a lighter carrier for our ebikes. After looking at several we decided on the Easyfold. We bought the optional longer ramp as well. The easy fold satisfies all our requirements. Its light, its easy to install on our truck, and best of all it holds our ebikes securely.

Great Idea Execution leaves you wanting
We bought this rack as it was the only one able to handle two fat tire e-bikes we had. We had to pay extra for the fat tire tie ups (considering the amount of money this rack costs they should have been included) but the rack was easy to attach to the car and although it was too bouncy for my liking the bikes were secure and never had a issue. Until I left them on the rack in my carport for a couple of hours. I use past tense because thieves were able to just remove the rack (along with the bikes) without any damage to the hitch or my car like they had keys for it. I can see here I am not the only one that had this experience so I would say that the locking mechanism to the hitch (or the bikes) is not secure at all. My only other problem was that it takes two to load a heavy e-bike to the rack as attaching the arms to the frame takes considerable amount of effort but I would partially blame the weight of the bikes on this.
