run small
size up one size if you like your gloves comfortably loose, otherwise they may feel constrictive. My hand measured at the lower end of size Large, but I found them a bit tight when I received them.

nice quality but not super comfortable
they're really nice quality but i have some comfort issues with them. i've only worn them for about 12 hours so far so i think i need to break them in more but some of the seams and edges are digging into my hands, hopefully they'll stretch and soften up as i wear them more

Worth it
Great for everyday routes on the rock, strikes a great compromise between protection and dexterity.

Great for chopping lots of wood
Great fingerless gloves for any task that requires dexterity and protection. I wear these for summertime firewood chopping at backcountry yurts. They're breathable and durable, and most importantly, they protect my palms from splinters and blisters (four cords of wood = a LOT of axe swinging!). The stitching has lasted a surprisingly long time given the abuse I've put them through.

Love the gloves!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a similar pair last minute at another store. The quality of these gloves trumps the other pair! Plus they are comfortable!

Multi-Purpose Glove
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although marketed as a rock climbing glove, my primary use is for exercise. Works nicely as a weight lifting glove and in that the leather is natural (e.g., not dyed black) it does not leave a dark stain on my painted steps where I do incline push-ups. Soft yet durable palm, elastic and breathable back, and, super easy on/off with wrist/finger pull-loops, respectively. Great design as evidenced by attention to practical fit-for-use human factors.

Mountain bike gloves
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- xl, then lg

I’m old school when it comes to mtn bike gloves and prefer the half finger style. These are exactly what I was looking for. Well made and a reasonable price. After getting the first pair I bought two more pair. Purpose made cycling gloves tend to be flimsy and fall apart quickly. I’m completely satisfied with these.

Sexy
They fit great, look hot, but already have holes in the palms after not many uses.

Woodworker's Dream
A wonderfully snug (but not too snug) fit, these gloves are everything I have been looking for using during woodworking. I recognize that this is not the intended purpose, but these gloves are perfect for woodworking, and let me explain why if it's useful for other outdoorsy folks. Fit - The fit on these is, well, like a glove. - They're snug, without limiting one's range of motion, with no extra material bunching up anywhere. - At least on my hand, the fingers fit perfectly (terminating just at or over the second knuckle. If you look at the scars on my hand from scraping them, the first and second knuckles get the worst of it, so this glove (literally) has them covered. At the same time, it leaves the third knuckle and skin below it exposed for a full range of motion and dexterity/grip. This is far safer for doing things like holding drill bits, screws, nails, etc. - The thumb is a bit longer, going over the second knuckle on my hands, yet given the fact the thumb is usually used in a pincer move, I find there's no loss of motion. Additionally, it gives extra grip and protection when loosening a drill chuck or holding onto a board/rod. The last thing - the wrist and finger pulls make the on/off process a breeze. Cannot more highly recommend them.
