Great Gloves
I have almost two years on a pair of these and they've held up remarkably well. One palm is finally showing wear but they've seen quite a bit of abuse in a variety of terrain, especially the Sonoran Desert. As advertised, they're comfortable to wear, breathe well, and have done a great job mitigating sun damage on my old, beat up hands. Extremely pleased with my purchase.

Great purchase! ActiveIce Chroma Sun Gloves
These ActiveIce Chroma Sun Gloves are wonderful. The fit is spot on. They not only protect from the sun but provide grip and protection with trekking poles and even scrambling in the rocks.

light for summer and nice for fall
I decided it was about time I started protecting my hands from the sun - and purchased the chrome sun gloves. I tested them out on training hikes and then took them out for a week in early September in the Cascades of WA. The days were comfortable, but cool enough that wearing the gloves was nice both for sun protection and a little warmth. They fit well and I look forward to using them more next year.

Great protection, great fit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When hiking/climbing at high altitude, it's key to have something protecting the back of your hands from the sun. These fit great, are super light, and give you full dexterity for scrambling/climbing. I also find them pretty amazing for clearing sweat from my brow and perfect for a quick "wipe" after a "farmer's blow". Just choose different locations. ;)

Best. Backpacking. Gloves. Ever.
These are great for backpacking, hiking, etc. I've bought several pairs. The palms wear out a little fast, and I had to replace a pair, but I love the touch/feel of the palm also so... catch 22. Other than that it would have been a 5 (maybe it still is..?)

Nice gloves but palm material is thin
They're nice thin gloves and are great to keep you hands from getting sunburned or burning up in the heat. Wearing these gloves and some arm sleeves really helped working in Phoenix in the triple digits. Had these gloves for over a year and only complaint I've had recently has had to be in the last two or three months. The palm side of the gloves are really thin so you have to be careful not to get the gloves caught on something or grab anything that is too rough they start to wear out the palm quickly. For as much use as I've gotten out of them I think it's still worth the price and I've gotten my moneys worth out of them. If the palm area was made with a thicker material it would be a perfect glove to me but I will still order a new pair
