Why We Like The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 Running Shoe

For double-digit road miles, we lace into the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 Running Shoe. Equipped with the DNA Loft v2 foam, this shoe gives us lasting shock absorption and bounce without weighing us down. The 3D Fit Print upper keeps our foot locked over the plush platform and lets the wind blow through freely, while the GuideRails tech ensures our foot doesn't roll too much inward or outward through our stride, keeping our joints happy from first mile to last.

Great walking shoe

I am enjoying my Adrenaline GTS 23 shoes. The fit is slightly more narrow than the Ghost 15, but my gait is good. I’m on my feet a lot and these shoes are supportive. Highly recommend!

Tearing within a year

I have waited a long time to leave a review. However, I feel this must be said. I have 3 pairs of Adrenaline, 20, 21, and 22. I love the fit, the run, and some of the colors I have purchased. Within a year of each purchase, either the upper material has worn a hole (tropical palm trees style 21), or the inside material in the heal has torn so badly (20 & 22) that I have to chunk them in the trash. I have a pair of Ghosts and am wondering if the same thing will happen. I have a few other brands, and this has not happened to them. I won't buy another Brooks until something changes.

Take it for a Walk

I'm a walker...not a runner but the comfort and stability of the Adrenaline is unsurpassed! I have pronation and the guardrails help so much with balance! Love this shoe!!

Loft cushioning breaks down at 8 month

I’ve been an Adrenaline GTS fan for over 5 years. I pronate so I need the stabilization and I’m heavy (~250 lbs) so I need the support. Usually I get a pair every year as my everyday walking shoe. (I wear Ariel’s for running). Since I only wear them for walking, just normal running errands and such, they usually last at least a year. As much as I loved the v23, the new loft cushioning they’re using does not hold up. I bought my current v23 pair late last summer (late July/August) and the inside sole cushion felt significantly compressed down by early March. I started having to pull the laces much tighter because there is noticeably more room inside the shoe since the sole is thinned down. I kept wearing them thinking it wouldn’t be a big deal, but it’s gotten progressively worse (sole is even more compressed). Now if I wear them walking in May my feet are sore the next day. My arches especially ache after a few hours of sedate walking. I’m going to buy another pair of v23 because they were great for the first ~8 months. But if you expect everyday walking around shoes to make it 11-12 months the v23 may disappoint.

Love them

I love the shoes. They have a lot of cushion and help with how their supposed to. I use them when I walk a lot, like a security job. (I walked through grass yesterday and my socks got wet though.)

Great but more colours for wide feet

So comfortable. I wear them all the time But please do the wide sizes in more colours such as white or pale. Women with wide feet also appreciate nice colours and don't always want to be wearing drab colours.

I initially ordered a size 7. While the right shoe felt okay, the left one felt small. I returned them and got a 7 1/2. Strangely, the right shoe still felt okay, but the left one seemed big. I kept trying to make these work because the right shoe seemed to be pretty comfortable, but after a long walk today, my left foot was hurting too much for me to keep trying them. I’m going to have to return this pair as well.
