Why We Like the Dolomite One Sleeping Bag
It's hard picking a sleeping bag that won't make us uncomfortably hot on summer nights or leave us shivering on those especially cold shoulder-season evenings, but The North Face solved our dilemma when they built the Dolomite One Sleeping Bag. The two-layer design with two-way zipper gives us options for obtaining that perfect sleeping temp, and the rectangular design lets us really stretch out for a super cozy slumber. Not to mention, the water-resistant finish helps shed moisture through the night, while an internal zippered pocket always keeps our headlamp close by.

Great combo bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable! Separate bags system is great for different temps.

yes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased the North Face Dolomite Duo. And have been looking at the different combinations. I'm wondering why I couldn't just zip the Blue layer to the Yellow layer. Then when the temperature is 50* or higher we would use it with the Blue side up, sleeping on the Yellow side. But when the temperature would be down in the 30's. we could just sleep with the yellow side up and the blue side down. This system would not need the bottom side and would save space for camping or back packing. Is there any reason why this couldn't be done with the same relative results as is shown using the bottom layer?

Hoping the second one lasts!
Took this out for a festival and was so, so comfortable! Downside was finding a massive hole inside down near my feet. Unsure if hole was there prior to using or if it tore when I crawled in, but I was bummed out. Have exchanged for a new one and hope it's just a one-off. I'm 157cm with tiny feet, but can say I was snug as a bug in a rug. Not too hot, not too cold, warmed up quickly and didn't need a second blanket on top.

Nice sleeping bag but....
Very comfortable when fully assembled. Only the yellow layer has a draft tube that covers the zippers. No protection from the zippers when you only use the blue layer.

eeeeeekkk!!! high desert oregon 4/17/21....25ish degrees. thought i might be chilly but did not expect to be SO COLD. even w/wool socks on, fully clothed, hat, scarf and the works, this bag did not step up to the 15 degree rating and the Heatseeker Eco (70% polyester, 30% recycled polyester) is weird. is is cold when you first touch it then gets warmish but after spending hours of trying to get warm, my body was just exhausted of extra heat and the bag just did not help. also, i often use silk tops for warmth and whatever the dolomite fabric is, it is not happy w/silk as the 2 fabrics would not slide easily across each other. it was nice to have knee and below movement room but it was just more to try to heat up. the zippers are confusing even when awake & much worse in the middle of the nite when you have to pee. no neck collar to keep out drafts was also sorely missed. when puling the layer/s tight w/the the provided draw strings to compensate for no collar, i quickly remembered there was no mummy bag "head cradle." i have been sleeping outside for decades & owned 4 bags over my years. this one is good for the summer nites when it is chilly, but NOT for cold of any type.

In love with this!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is unbelievably spacious! You can separate the double layer and make it into one LARGE sleeping bag if you need extra space!!

If you are perfectly slim, adapt at changing layers on a climatic whim and love the the feel of sleeping on zippers... it is for you. If not, save your pesos. Tried it once and the material will set you up quite a few degrees than expected. And, still waiting on my refund after returning some time ago. So, that happened.
