Done it again
I thought these had more glue and/or no strength to any of the joints - but not only has no lugs on the bottom broken off the Gore-Tex membrane IS a functional piece of equipment on these!! I say this cause one other shoe maker has Gote-Tex on theirs and the fronts leak horribly. Anyway - so from function to comfort (and trust me - I need comfort) the speed 6 has held up to its “quality” stamp perfectly!!! And after a trail hike or walking in suburbia I love the way they feel. Even taking them off I say to myself I love these shoes!

Perfect Trailrunning / Hiking Hybrid
I like to hike on the ascent and trailrun on the descent, and these are perfect for that. I wish they were waterproof all around (the sides have little triangles of cloth that let water in) but the fit, feel, grip and all is just perfect. Will buy again and again.

Run in the Mud and All-Terrain
My first couple of Spartan Races I watched as people ran past me in 6 inches of mud while I slipped and slide tip-toeing around wondering how. And then I got my first pair of Speed Cross, and that's why! I have owned easily 10 pairs since. These shoes are amazing and it's like having dirt bike tires on your feet.

They did it again
Yes I have the SCross 5 and I was hoping for the best - in my eyes they did it!!!! And I am hard to please in this area - the lugs are holding together and no seams have come apart and they truly are waterproof. Salomon’s truly are great shoes!!!!

Lived up to my expectations
I have the speedcross 5 and wanted to see if the 6 Gore-Tex lived up to the expectations I put on them and so far they absolutely did!! Very comfy and wear is solid - meaning all seams and lugs etc are not wearing out too quick or have been uncomfortable in anyway

Always dreamed having these shoes
Long way from US to EC. Finally I got them. I love my speedcross 6 GTX. The size is perfect for my feet, they are really light weight. The soles are like truck wheels, I feel like I can hike any mountain with them. I just have to prove them on a real trekking adventure.
