Why We Like The Salomon Sense Ride 5 Trail Running Shoe
Whether we're going for speed or distance, we lace into the Salomon Sense Ride 5 Trail Running Shoe. The breezy upper keeps our feet from overheating, while the ghillie lacing and Sensifit construction give our midfoot a customized hug to keep us comfortably locked over the platform. Pretty but not comfy
I bought these about a month ago and I haven’t found them comfortable. My feet tend to hurt after I wear them. Perhaps they aren’t good for high arches.

so good
The shoes are so pretty. and good fit!! But it's so nice because it's even comfortable. You can order a regular size. I have wide feet, but the size was perfect.

Amazing for rucks and hiking
I am a Salomon speedcross lover through and through. Last year I decided to try a different trail shoe, and went with Hoka’s-I was not impressed with the feeling, and found my way back to Salomon’s. I found this shoe and decided to try it since I hadn’t worn anything but the speed cross. These are amazing-lightweight, comfortable, supportive. I’ve worn them multiple times a week on rucks, trail runs, and hikes and they reminded me why I loved Salomon’s in the first place. I don’t see myself veering away from them again in the future.

Great shoe!
This is my second pair of Sense Ride 5 shoes and I love them! They are really versatile and transition well from trail running to road running. A little wider in the toe box than the speed cross runners. I usually wear a size 9 in shoes and sized down to an 8.5.

Nice dirt road shoe
Well, I haven’t really worn these too much as it is STILL snowing this spring! However, when we did get a stretch of dry days these seem to perform best on dirt roads. I used them a couple of times on single track trails and they were ok. Just didn’t seem to have the bite needed for my liking. They are definitely cushioned well for a longer haul and seemed stable enough. I would like to see these in a women’s wide.

Good trail shoe
The sense ride 4 was my favourite shoe!! When I couldn’t find anymore, I decided to the de 5. Very comfortable but different fit. The toe box is a lot smaller than the 4 version and i find that there is a little less padding underneath the toes. Maybe going half a size up would give a better fit. Regardless, it’s still an excellent shoe.

Solid Shoe
Good durability. I have been almost dailying two pairs of these across 9 months and have seen almost zero wear and tear on the outsole or anywhere else. The tongue pouch never worked, and the tongue pull tab broke off just a week ago. The outsole discolours really quickly. Very comfy sole, comparable to boost.
