Why We Like The Salomon Hologram Snowboard Binding
Salomon's top-of-the-line freestyle binding, the Hologram Snowboard Binding, offers a multitude of technical components to keep response snappy without losing that loose, freestyle feel. The high-glass-content baseplate delivers more responsiveness than traditional nylon bindings, but Salomon's Shadow Fit construction splices the baseplate in three, creating natural flexibility underfoot for ultimate binding-to-board connection. Additionally, a Kevlar Quickwire anchored from toe to heel cup boosts energy transfer from edge to edge, creating a super-snappy platform for carving, jibbing, and more. The ergonomically-aligned highback and canted footbed keep our legs at a more comfortable, fatigue-reducing angle for all-day stomping.

Comfortable, light, and effective
I love these bindings. I have used a couple different other brands (flow, Burton) and I think these may be my favorite. I swapped these onto a pretty basic rocker twin board, removing some flow fuse hybrids. I thought the board was hold back my riding, but it was the bindings. The Salomon Holograms pretty much transformed my board. It was a night and day difference. First the weight, these are pretty light and you can tell with the board feel. Second, the engagement, my transition from edge to edge felt effortless. It literally caught me by surprise how quick it was on my first run with these bindings. Third, the lateral flex. The heel cup with the kevlar cable is so flexible, but still so powerful when going from edge to edge. It is really comfortable and so enjoyable to ride. Technical stuff. The high back adjustment is not on hill adjustable, so you need to have a pretty good idea of what you want when you set them up at home. The straps and ratchets are pretty solid, though I wish the toe strap had the same quick release feature as the ankle strap, but that isn't a deal breaker. The lock in very well and feel comfortable over my boots. Overall, these bindings shred.

Awful!
After only one season riding these, 3/4 straps broke! (See photo). I am an intermediate rider, and am not rough with them. Do not buy!

Fantastic!!
I paired these with my Assissin board and couldn't be more happy. I love these bindings for their ease of putting on and riding all conditions! Get these and have fun!
