K-9 Pack
Your pup likes to carry her own weight, so strap on the Mountainsmith K-9 Pack next time you hit the trail. It gives her space to carry food, water, and maybe a toy, to ensure she has plenty of comforts when you stop to rest. This pannier-style pack is fully adjustable via a four-point system that's padded at the sternum to keep your favorite trail partner comfortable out there, and the pack's tapered torso profile reduces drag and improves your dog's balance as she trots down the trail. A D-ring provides an additional leash attachment point, while a single-haul handle lets you give the pup a boost through technical sections of trail.

Best fitting pack for my dog
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
After trying a few different packs, this is the one that fits my dog. The pack has a bunch of adjustments to get things dialed in and keeps in place. I haven't noticed any rubbing or irritation from my dog. It has more than enough space for what he'll be carrying. Added benefit.. the mesh panels will soak up water and work like a cooling vest when he dips in a stream. The pockets seem to be water resistant and I haven't had any of the interior space get wet. It seems well made and has held up, but when it does eventually wear out I will be getting another Mountainsmith K9 pack.
