Whether we're climbing snow-capped peaks or finding a bit of solitude at a quiet campsite, the Mountain Hardwear Bishop Pass GORE-TEX Sleeping Bag is ready for any winter adventure. The GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER membrane thrives in severe conditions, protecting us from rain, snow, and wind in the high alpine. The 650-fill down packs down exceptionally small for such a burly bag, allowing plenty of room in our pack for technical gear and extra winter layers. The two-way zipper gives us the ability to ventilate and find the perfect amount of warmth, and the internal stash pocket keeps our phone, headlamp, and water bottle warm, so we don't have to boil water to get our day started.

Phenomenal Bag
I purchased this bag for a 4 day fall hike through Kananaskis. It rained relentlessly, and in the evening the temprature dipped to -15 C. It was such a relief to have a super toasty bag to keep me warm. Most nights I used it like a blanket, but when it was zipped up it was roomy and long! I'm 6'5 and there was still room to spare. I am also someone with broad shoulders, and I never felt like the bag was tight. One thing, I wish I could zip 2 together easily so that my partner and I could make a couples bag. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints.

Solid bag
Great bag so far, although I haven’t tried it below 20 degrees yet. I was still warm at 20 degrees but had to go full mummy…was expecting it to be a little bit warmer. Interested to see what it’s like in sub zero (Fahrenheit). The gore Tex is really nice though, cowboy camped in about 30 degrees and was super toasty and brushed off the frost in the morning. I got the long and I’m 6’6”, not to small.

Kilimanjaro bag
Bought to climb Kilimanjaro. I’m 6’ tall and bought the long bag. Loved it. Warm! Comfy! Great zipper!
