Happy with purchase
Bought these for a fall Camino. Should do the trick. Soles could be a little more stiff but these are an improvement in that regard to a pair of the same model from 10 years ago.

Great shoe and turns out the Lichen color is great
Merrill shoes are my favorite! They are the one brand that really seems to be designed for my biology. Unfortunately for some reason lately the higher top versions are really bothering my Achilles. So I got a low top and of course they work like a charm and let my Achilles get over whatever issue it seems to be having. The one thing I wanted to note is I got the sale color Lichen. I loved the price, but in the in-line photo the colors looked not so mountin-y. The exterior sole looked nearly white, more like a sneaker than my beloved Merrel Moabs. But I couldn’t resist the price so I bought them and just figured I’d suck up wrt the color. I was pleasantly surprised when I got them they are much darker than they look in the photo and I think they are now my favorite color scheme in my Merrill collection! They are really a great shoe. Got my hubby hooked on them too.

My "Go To" shoes!
It's been a long search and finally found "comfort" and style in Moab 3 Waterproof. Well made and well designed. It's been worth waiting for.

Great hiking shoes
These shoes were great. I had tried a number of shoes before I finally found these. Comfortable and no blisters. Great for hiking the Alpe di Siusi in Italy.

My feet stayed dry
I wore my Moab 3 waterproof hiking shoes to London and Ireland. During a torrential rain my feet were in a few inches of water and my feet stayed dry! They were very comfortable the first time I wore them!

Moabs Will Hike!
These are my second pair of Moab waterproof hiking shoes. I loved the first ones so much I bought another pair. I have hiking trips planned for The Olympic National Park and the North rim of the Grand Canyon this fall. So I wore them recently at Pattison State Park in WI and Gooseberry Falls in MN to get them broken in. I am excited to spend many , many miles hiking in these new Moabs!

Comfort
Daily go tos. Walk the dog twice a day. Early in the morning when the grass is wet I need the waterproof. I have orthotics and the switch over is easy.

Waterproof doesn't last
Love the soles for getting through the woods for turkey season when insulated is too much. But these just don't do waterproofing. I've had 3 pair now, and the last pair I got didn't hold up to wet grass only on 2 trips out. Toes leak on them almost immediately. I'd like to see them in leather. Most leather waterproof hold up, but not these. No fake leather either, that breaks. Soles good for traction, comfortable, but I give a minus 5 stars for waterproof.
