Works great, but one.
It’s functional and it was great to use with my 17 ounce Hydro pack. Well worth it for the multi our hikes so I didn’t need to carry all of the water I needed from the start.

Perfect for hydrapak 2-3L
Goes perfectly with hydrapak!!!! Use this system to carry water from source back to camp. The water source on ridgeline trails is hard to get to, these make refil and use a breeze with minimal weight!!!!

Couldn’t be easier
Simple and easy to use. Paired with my 2 liter hydrapak, it’s quickly becoming my go-to water filtration system.

4 Days in Yosemite Tested
The reviews of how good this is are real and while I wanted to trust them – it's 2022 and bots are a thing. 4 days in the high country doing parts of the PCH and John Muir Trail and this combined with the Hydrapak was a game changer. Just remember if it's going to be freezing at night and you want water in the morning to keep the filter/pak in the tent.

Great product and best tasting water out there.
I have used these filters in every shape and size for the past decade. The quality of the water is unmatched in my book and I have tried a dozen or so different methods. The easy of use of this filter on the bottles, bladders etc is great. It's lower profile them other bottle top filters.

I love this filter! I use it in conjuction with a cnoc 42mm bag. That combination works great for me. I don't use the befree bags. In any case, this filter works great! It does lose some flow rate as it gets dirty (like all filters) but in my humble opinion; this has the best overall flow rate. I think my first one lasted about 1800 miles (on a thru hike) before I swapped it out. But 700 miles of that was the desert and I was filtering a lot and using it several times a day. I replaced it because even with back flushing, I couldn't get the flow rate back. only downside (in my opinion) to these filters is the price, and they are much more limited to what bottle, or bags they'll fit onto... At 25 dollars each, it's definitely not cheap.. and in theory you won't get near the life out of what you might get from something like the regular sawyer squeeze.. the befree will get you roughly a 1000 liters. I wait until I can find them on sale and just stock up..cheapest I've ever found these replacement filters was 17 dollars. Two should all you really need for a thru hike, if you take care of it properly. Don't let it freeze or bye bye! And backflush when you can. I also highly recommend getting something like a cnoc bag to use with it.. the standard befree bag is ok, however, it can be much slower collecting at smaller water sources.. the befree bag also isn't nearly as durable as something like the cnoc vecto bags..
