Why We Like The Carve Evo Knee Pad

It's hard enough to concentrate on cleaning a technical section of trail, whether that's a rugged rock garden or a tight switchback disrupted by large roots. Give yourself the peace of mind to conquer these difficult sections of trail while you're suited up in The Carve Evo Knee Pad by iXS. This super-lightweight, highly flexible knee pad takes the sting out of nasty spills on the trail, but without inhibiting your ability to pedal swiftly or flick your bike around with precision.

Certified to European standards for motorcycle padding (EN 1621), The Carve Evo Knee Pad absorbs crushing impacts with its XMatter padding, which is comprised of flexible viscoelastic polymer foam. Totally sold.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

First off I used the sizing chart and measured and these were exactly true to size, which was really nice. They don't move around while pedalling and the one crash they did take they protected super well. The mesh on the back is nice and breathable and they fit comfortable under several different brands of pants. Would definitely recommend these

Totally impressed.

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

My first impressions have been crystal clear where my previous pairs left me wondering if I bought the right pads. These pads are simply comfortable and provide a decent amount of protection. I ride with pads anytime I plan on being aggressive and I love to jump and make bad decisions. I have been searching for a pad that can be worn all the time and won't fall down when pedaling or crashing. The Carves totally deliver. I don't notice them when I am pedaling and in general didn't really think about them at all while riding. This is a good thing!! Having two straps is huge for someone like me that never quite fits into a size chart. Most two strap pads are way to beefy and stiff for all day pedaling. This pad is a perfect medium duty solution. The only downside might be that they could be warm. I find all pads to be warm so its not a big deal to me. The foam feels great and is more flexible that my other set of impact foam pads. Anyway. These pads ended my search for the perfect all around all day pad that doesn't slide around. Can't speak to the durability quite yet. I usually wait to review products but these felt so perfect from the jump that I had to get one in right away.
