Why We Like The Five Ten Sleuth Cycling Shoe
From hitting the jump lines to trail rides ripping through flowing singletrack, the Five Ten Sleuth mountain bike shoes are our go-to shoe when we are looking for a low-profile, lightweight shoe that is loaded with features. Made with a durable textile upper fabric, the Sleuth is durable, breathable, and lightweight. The Sleuth features Stealth Marathon rubber to give us tons of grip on our pedals, and the dotty tread works perfectly with platform pedal pins to give us that 'locked-in' feeling when we are riding. A stiffened toecap guards against rock strikes, and an EVA midsole absorbs impacts and vibrations from the trail.

Returned due to sizing and cosmetic reasons
The shoe is as shown in pictures. I just didn’t realize that it was slightly different than the 510 Sleuth cycling shoe (maybe last years model?). It is two different colours of black and there is no speckle on the white rubber around the heels. Note: sizing is different than other shoe models (based on country where shoe is made.)

Stiff but functional & causal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally wear 7 in Ultraboost, Terrex 7, then followed the advice and ordered size 6, but both length and width were tight even w/ thin socks. Exchanged (very efficient shipping service) to 6.5 and feel comfortable with Life is Good typical non-cushion socks. They are very stiff and need sometime to break in. Also followed the instructions on spraying some leather protectors. Good value for causal outing and bike riding.

Great shoe but runs very large.
I love this shoe for its lightweight and comfort. Be aware that the sizing is huge. I usually wear a 7 in athletic shoes so my feet can swell a little in the heat. I read the reviews about this style running large so I ordered a 6.5. They're still huge. I'm exchanging for a 5.5.

The perfect shoe for mountainbiking and scootering
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these pair of shoes for my son and he loves it. He rides his mountainbike so often and the quality is nevertheless just perfect. He also falls in Bikeparks but the shoe dont have any defects. My son also rides scooter on professonial skateparks with this shoe and he just loves they. Despite the stops you make while scootering the shoe dont have any defects. The shoe is also pretty for a mountainbiking shoe! I really like it!

Comfy and stylish, but runs big
I read the reviews before purchasing, but still wasn't convinced when others said the shoes run big. However, they were right, and these ran very big for me, even with thick socks. I'm a solid 7.5 in every shoe and probably could have went with a 6.5. I didn't return them because they came in the same day I was supposed to go mountain biking and I was anxious to try them out, and too impatient to wait on a replacement. Even with the big fit, these were a huge improvement over my regular running shoes. The Sleuths were so comfortable and I didn't have the usual pain in my feet afterward. I also appreciate the slick look of the black on black color with minimal branding (no gigantic 5).
