Terrible product
Extremely disappointed. The battery lasts about 5 minutes. It takes 10-15 attempts to get the pilot to work and then the unit randomly cuts out every couple of minutes. I have taken it on 5 camping trips and have still not had one successful use. Initially I thought it was me not using it correctly but now I realize it just doesn’t work. It is poorly designed and cheaply built and the price tag was not low! Not what I expect from Coleman which I usually consider reliable

Most of the connections leaked excessively.
The lid to the water container leaks. The pump also leaks. We had a very limited amount of water as we were off the grid, so the water loss made this item unusable.

Leaking tank connection
I couldn't get it to stop leaking at the connection to the water tank. Any suggestions on troubleshooting? Did I need to install a gasket somewhere?

Pump broke
My BF bought me this as a gift. It was for both of us when we go camping and when I travel. The pump stopped working after a few uses. The product may not be good, but Coleman support was awesome!

Very disappointed!
I bought the Coleman portable water heater, charged it up and took it on my trip to a very remote lake in Ontario, Canada. It would not stay on for more than about 5 seconds. I tried recharging it and it would do the same. I had one of these units years ago and it worked great but this one was a dud and very disappointing as I used a 62 degree lake to shower every night and I packed it all the way in with fuel.

Too expensive to be disposable
This water heater is great when is working properly. Unfortunately I have not found a place where it can be serviced nor there are any instructions to properly maintain it. It seems to me there should be more support for a product that is not inexpensive as this one. This is the second one I purchased and I am not happy by having to dispose of it again because I can't find anyone to repair it. After using them for about a year, the heater would not stay lit or it turns itself off. Apparently the water does not flow through the unit correctly and i suspect it is because it needs to be serviced.
