Why We Like The New Balance Fresh Foam x More Trail v3 Running Shoe
From daily miles to long training runs, we lace into the New Balance Fresh Foam x More Trail v3 Running Shoe. The midsole's max cush, plush foam, and raised sidewalls soften the ground and stabilize our transitions to carry us comfortably through double-digit miles, while the breezy upper keeps the air flowing so our feet don't get swampy inside. As we stride, the well-spaced lugs release mud and debris, ensuring they get a solid bite with every strike.

Best trail runners for high arches.
Best trail running shoes I've ever owned. I have high arches and my feet get sore clambering over rocks, but these absorb the shock and uneven terrain well. I would purchase these again.

Perfect for my needs
I concur with other 5-star reviewers that this trail shoe hits the mark on all fronts. The rugged sole grips well on both wet and dry surfaces, the toe box/drop fits me perfectly, the max cushion is cloud soft, and the stack height provides max stability for me. I got a half size larger to accommodate my orthotic insole, and this shoe fits perfectly with that and my preferred sock thickness. The toe-protect from debris, the breathable upper mesh, and the eco-friendly materials and colors are all nice extras for me. I tried a comparable shoe from another brand, but NB's design best accommodates my high arches, low in-step, and toe length. Kudos to the design team--they seemed to have thought of everything for this model!

Can’t get the laces to tie comfortably
I have been wearing the regular More 4s for last 6 months for long runs and ultras. With a trail ultra coming up and in the need of new trail shoes, I decided to switch to the More Trail 3 since I love the regular version. The fit is good, but I cannot get the laces to tie comfortably. They really press in to my foot no matter how I try different ways to tie them and is painful. I had hoped my feet would adjust to the feel but after slowly increasing my mileage in the shoes, my feet are trying to adjust to the uncomfortable laces and I’ve started to develop ankle pain for the first time. I’ve given up on the trail shoe version. I haven’t read other reviews addressing this so must just be how it fits my foot. It’s too bad as the tread on the shoe looks like it would be great on the trails. I also really liked the color choices.

Hokas feel better
They are comfortable and look just like I thought they would based on the picture. But for some reason my heels ache with these. I think I'll go back to my Hokas
