Why We Like The Smith Triad Mips Helmet
From road cycling to gravel riding, the Smith Triad bike helmet has us covered with advanced impact technology and tunable comfort. The Zonal Koroyd technology helps to disperse impact energy through a wider area, and Mips acts as a slip plane between the helmet and our head to reduce rotation forces in a crash. Smith's VaporFit adjustment system gives us an easy and snug fit at the turn of a dial, and the traditional buckle under our chin secures the fit. Tons of airflow vents keep us cool, and theintegrated sunglasses storageallows us to store our glasses when we don't need them.

Great helmet!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This helmet fit my budget and I love it. I primarily use it as a Gravel helmet, but have also worn it mountain biking a few times. I wear it with my Smith Wildcat sunglasses and they work perfectly together. The sunglass storage is a bit hard to use, and I find the sunglass arms get stuck sometimes and I have to use some muscle to get them out. Not ideal for when I am on the bike, but overall this is a great helmet. I got the Matte Dusk color and it's awesome.

Doesn't fit sunglasses
Helmet is great -- stylish, super light, and the small fits my head nicely. The only thing that I have to complain about is the sunglass holder, which does not work for my glasses, so I have to figure out another way to carry my glasses on rides, since the Koroyd stuff makes it impossible to stick the sunglass arms anywhere but the sunglasses "holder". I have a pair of Smith Bobcats, and the holes they've made for holding the glasses are way too wide. I'm sure this fit some large person's head and sunglasses, but I really wish the product testing also included some smaller sizes, especially for some of Smith's own popular sunglasses, especially since they tout that it's "designed for ultimate integration with Smith performance eyewear for maximum comfort, venting and storage convenience". Not true.
