Why We Like The Longfin ChromaPop Polarized Sunglasses

We locate that lunker in the reeds while protecting our eyes from glare by sliding on the Smith Longfin Polarized Chromapop Sunglasses. The polarized Chromapop lenses cut glare from the water so that you can see any fish that may be lurking in the depths below, while small side shields add protection from annoying glare sneaking in behind your lenses. Additionally, auto-lock hinges work with hydrophilic temple and nose pads to create a secure fit so that you are never scooping your spectacles out of the creek after a big cast.

Great Style but with Defective Glass

I've had 2 pairs of these glasses, and while I love the style and the polarization was excellent, I would not recommend. Both pairs ended up with a severely cracked glass lens for normal use, and what should be anticipated normal wear and tear. This is obviously a defect that Smith does not want to own up to, and I was only offered 1/2 off a new pair the first time and 20% off the second time. I've owned expensive polarized sunglasses from a variety of brands that have lasted me years without any similar damage. I would not recommend to anyone since they do not stand behind the quality of their products.

Good, gotta find the right environment

The fit is good, weight is nice. Chromapop lenses are great. I’m getting used to the side panels but I’m not sure I like the lack of peripheral they create, I’m used to wrap around lenses so I haven’t gotten used the the light being blocked. I’m sure I’ll find the right space for them

I couldn’t be more pleased!

I couldn’t be more pleased! The fit is perfect. And the optics are outstanding. I can see better with these than I can through the glasses from my eye doctor. The ordering process was simple and they arrived right when promised.

Longfin Rx

I've been looking for a pair of new sunglasses and my fishing buddies use Smith. I looked at the options and I had some limitations in choices due to my prescription. I decided to go with the Longfin since they were still curved and the added frame "fins" on the side and top really help block side light. I flyfish for redfish in NE Florida and I'ved used a lot of sunglasses over the year. However, the amount of fish that I can see with the Brown lenses literally blows me away! Great pair of glasses!

Excellent sunglasses. Used them on

Excellent sunglasses. Used them on an ocean cruise to Antarctica and was not disappointed. Looked good and had clear lenses.

Not Great

I do not love these glasses. There is a screw that keeps backing out of one of the arms and they will not stay on my face.

Next level

Glass lenses better than costa. Polarization is next level. They also fit my face perfect.

Longfin in green mirror

Clarity is unsurpassed. Inlays on arms and nose piece ensure they stay exactly where you put them. A cap helps to keep them on extra tight in windy conditions. Easy to clean which is a plus. Much heavier than normal sunglasses. A small price to pay for the quality of glass lenses. Highly recommended.
