Why We Like The Simms Pursuit Shoe

Whatever our aquatic pursuits, the Simms Pursuit Shoe lets us play in the water with confidence. The quick-lacing system makes it easy to slip our shoes on or off, while the quick-draining, quick-drying uppers are ideal for any activity in or out of the water, such as wading for smallies, kayak camping, and hiking slot canyons with regular creek crossings. Simms has sized this shoe to be worn barefoot or with a thin liner sock.

Fits wonderfully even with a neoprene wading sock. Has plenty of room for a wide foot like mine.

Love these shoes.

Love these shoes. Bought them for fishing but wear them everywhere. Comfortable with or without socks. Perfect for the beach.

Excellent performance in Bahamas flats April 2024

Impressed with the Pursuit in flats with Simms neoprene sock. Pursuit is light, moves well though water, dries fast, and takes hard use. Packs small too though is one shoe you can wear on plane, fishing, then back home if needed. I normally wear 9 - 9.5. Bought 9.5 and fit well with thin Simms Neo Sock. Above average prevention of sand infiltration, though this is one area that could be improved a little. Overall high recommend, will likely buy second pair.

The shoes are great. They really keep sand out while fly fishing in the salt. Want to give it a 5 star but the one shoe for some reason tore up the back of my ankle on the seam. Other one was great and maybe I just got a defective one. But they are light weight. Grip well. Dry fast.

Needs padding on the heel

Great show overall but could have been designed better in terms of comfort. The shoe wears at the skin on my heel/achilles and it’s very painful. There needs to be some kind of padding on the heel.
