Why We Like The Mago Climbing Shoe
We look to the Mago when the route is unforgiving and demands the best from us. With a narrow width and lacing closure, this shoe gives us a snug fit, squeezing out all dead space. The aggressive profile lends to precise footwork, while the firm rubber bites into credit card edges as we battle our way to the chains.

Too small
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Size Bought:
- 39.0
I usually wear the La Sportiva Solution, size 38.5 – they're tight but not painful. So, I thought Scarpa Mago 39.0 might be fit in my feet. Turns out, it's like two and a half sizes smaller than my Solution! Doesn't make any sense. Scarpa claims 39.0 is like a US Men's 6.5, but that's just not true. Gotta send these shoes back, they're not gonna work out.
