BlueGiga USB Dongle
Rouvy Over the Air (OTA) firmware update capability and the BlueGiga dongle go together like a perfectly matched cleat and pedal. You could try to use one without the other, but you might not like the result. The BlueGiga dongle contains a Bluetooth (BLE) radio that allows PCs to communicate with BLE devices, such as our dual mode or BLE only cycling power meters. Reach for the BlueGiga USB over native BLE integration for firmware upgrades that are truly plug-and-play.

Works as Expected
For early morning trainer rides, I just use my phone and my training app to connect my H2. I saw that I would need this to update firmware and I wanted to be able to use by laptop as well so I went ahead and bought it. I plugged the USB into my laptop, which required a restart to finalize the installation. Then when I opened up my training app (TrainerRoad for me) it found my H2 perfectly. When I went to start a workout, I got a message that said I had no device transmitting power data, which didn't make sense because that comes from the H2 itself. I got worried I didn't do something correctly, but I just closed my app and opened it up again and all was good.

Plug and Play, What More Can I Say?
It's pretty straight forward, plug it in and, voila, you can connect your trainer to your computer. Connecting to your computer is great if you want to have more options on your Zwift rides, or whatever other software you may use, or if you just want a bigger screen to view your activity on.

What is the range on this bluetooth dongle? My PC is on the ground floor and the trainer will be set up directly beneath it in the basement (about 12 feet).
