Pulsar Trail satisfaction.
The fit and convenience of use is outstanding. I often go from cycling to Running and I can do so with ease with a single drawstring feature. I am a heavy sweater and shoes drought incredibly fast. I am very happy with my purchase.

Got these a month ago. Solid performance on the dirt trail in the park. Very stable which is great because I usually run before sunrise

Bad sole material
"I had these shoes for no more than 1 1/2 months, using them for less than 3 miles twice a week. I had to walk or jog to the trail 0.6 miles on the pavement and run a short single 2-mile trail. What a surprise when I see the tread of the sole of the shoe gone. The design and cushioning are great, but the sole material is cheap or of bad quality. It's crazy that short runs wore off the sole of this shoe. Very disappointing."

Great shoes but poor insoles
Really comfortable shoe with good grip over most terrains, except thick mud. Excellent all-rounder and ideal for road to trail runs. Only one big issue is the insoles which fit really poorly and move about in the shoe. After each run the insoles had slid back causing a ridge at the front which was uncomfortable and rubbed against the foot. Swapped them out with insoles from another shoe and they’re fine.

Size and grip issue
I’m normally 12.5, bought those and they were too small so I had to buy 13.5. They’re slightly too big but I’ve run in them now so can’t return them (I thought they would be ok). I will use them for training runs. Compared to Speedcross these obviously have less grip due to 3mm lugs instead of 5 but it made a surprisingly big difference on wet mud. Other than that happy and they will do a lot of kms.

Worst shoes I owned - do NOT buy
Bought the shoes thinking they would make a great pair for moderate trails. Upper felt comfortable at first but by the 200km the lugs at the front right were almost completely gone and the shoes were slipping all over the trails. The left shoe seems to be wonky now (the sole) and rolls inwards on runs. The upper on the same shoe is also showing signs of abnormal wear. I persevered to 270km with the shoes including some hiking as I didn't feel comfortable running in them anymore but they are not even good for hiking now as there is zero grip and the inwards rolling of the shoe is very annoying. I've owned many pairs of Salomon shoes over the years and these are by far the worst! I find it unacceptable that a supposedly premium brand produced such a poor quality shoe. To make matters worse it seems that Salomon isn't even accepting that this quality isn't acceptable. I will be spending my money elsewhere.
