Altitude C Frameset

Rocky Mountain's newly redesigned Enduro steed has arrived and is more capable than ever. The Altitude is now equipped with Rocky Mountain's new LC2R suspension system, which features a low pivot and a counter-rotating link design for enhanced traction, efficiency, and a lower center of gravity. A new one-piece rear triangle, paired with shorter links and more robust bearings, enhances durability and efficiency. Meanwhile, a revised rate curve and enhanced anti-squat characteristics improve suspension kinematics over the previous Smoothlink platform. 160mm of LC2R suspension plows down the steep descents, rides high in its travel, and still has enough juice in the tank to climb efficiently. The revised Ride-4 adjustment system simplifies the adjustment range over their previous Ride-9 and gives us four distinguishable geometry adjustments to tune our ride feel. The flip chip on the rear shock link also allows us to make the Altitude into a mixed wheel setup for faster turning, more agility, and extra clearance. A reach-adjust headset cup offers a 3-position adjustment so we can dial in our fit, and Rocky Mountain added in their new Penalty Box 2.0 internal frame storage to store a spare tube, snacks, and tools inside the bike's frame. The Carbon frameset is equipped with Fox's Factory X2 rear shock for top-tier suspension performance and loads of adjustment to fine-tune our feel. Integrated protectors at the upper and lower downtube, chainstay, and seat stay keep our frame protected.
