Great ride with some bad designs

The good: Geo and overall ride quality are fantastic on this bike. Sharp steering but, also feels stable while descending. Lovely paint scheme, and the gold matches tan side walls spectacularly. The bad: Getting the steerer shim in feels bad. The tolerance is far too tight. Following their online instructions to use carbon paste, and then push it in works... but it's never coming out. It's a very snugg fit and, it made properly preloading the headset a headache. I don't mind integrated cables and the extra faff when replacing a headset, but I fear I won't be able to remove mine with out rerunning all new hydraulic lines, because they'll get crushed and damaged when attempting to take the bars off. I also wish it had a little more tire/rim clearance. I can't use my hunt limitless wheels on it because there's not sufficient clearance for them.

It simply works
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Sold my old Fast Noah when another very popular aero road bike was available via a race team I was riding for. I no longer race and enjoy doing fast group rides & having fun. Wanted a second bike that was unique, fast, and held its own against more recognized brands. Standard Noah was only 100 grams heavier than the Fast, With the frame savings I purchased higher-end components and wheels, which more than made up for the weight difference. It seems every bit as fast as my popular aero bike and is nearly 2 lbs lighter. The stiff frame 25mm tires gives a rather harsh ride, switching to 28mm tires made a huge difference, with no loss in speed. The bike performs every bit as well a most of the expensive super bikes out there while costing thousands less...it simply works as advertised
