-30F approved. I spent days searching for a lost dog in ultra cold weather and also camping with this jacket. I was good in -30. My husband and I both have this jacket (he has the men's version). It is a very warm jacket. I highly recommend a wicking layer underneath your clothes because once you get moving, you'll sweat a bit. Also, size up from what your t-shirt size is so it has enough room to loft. I wear a Medium T-shirt, and sometimes a Large and I got a large.

Light but not robust
Great weight to warmth ratio but sacrifices durability. Outer fabric rips super easily and is not very water resistant.. The niche for this jacket is dry cold only without any exposure to rocks or rough surfaces.. A very expensive niche for the price point

The Mythic Ultra is quite
The Mythic Ultra is quite warm, and it did well in the recent bout of single digit temperatures. That said, it doesn't quite match the warmth of my previous down jacket bought in Scandinavia over 20 years ago, and I doubt it will last half as long! I use it just for normal wear around town and occasional festival (I'm not a sports person so it will not be used for any sports or outdoor activities)... so I did mull over the purchase for a while before deciding.. it's quite a lot of money! But I did need a warm jacket to face the winter, so here we are. I've been using it for 3 weeks and it has done OK. The Orion blue/orange combo is very nice, and the sizing is generous - only the sleeves are too long for me as I'm quite petite.. but I'm used to that problem. The big issue with it: it sheds a lot of the feathers/down! At this rate, the Mythic will be nothing but a fabric shell in 5 years time. Disappointing, for the price.

This is a great jacket. I wore the men’s XL most of last winter including six weeks of skiing Alta/Snowbird in some of the biggest powder days of my life. My wife started bundling up in my jacket at night and this week we bought her one of her own. The sizing chart said she was either a XL or a large because of her bust size (43”) and her wide shoulders. Well the large size was huge on her. So we ordered the medium size and it came today. It fits her perfectly. From my experience alpine skiing and snowshoeing in my XL jacket last winter, we know this is a fantastic jacket. Terrific warmth to weight ratio, extremely light, excellent zippers, good length, very well made and durable. My wife’s sizing dimensions are in the boxes. For the men’s XL, I’m 6’1”, 207 lbs., normal size shoulders, 34” to 35” shirt sleeves. XL fits me slightly loose. A large would be too small for me. Sleeves are too long on the XL. Perfect length of jacket body. I have a tall upper body. Only thing I’d do to improve the Mythic Ultra jacket is to add a large mesh inside pocket.

Beautiful and warm jacket. Was looking for something that would hold up in the outdoors with various sports. I’m not a huge fan of layering a lot underneath, so I ordered my normal size. When trying it on, I had no complaints except that it fit really big. Sleeves were long and and about an inch of room on either side of my hips. I have a pear shape, I’m 5’5” and 125lbs and ordered a small. I wasn’t seeing many reviews about the jacket running big on people, so I hope this is helpful! I think I’m going to reorder an X-small.

There a lot of down
There a lot of down coming out of the stitching, wounding if needle size is too big in the manufacturing as I've never had this before in a RAB down product
