Well built and thought out
Bought the Slide Lite as an upgrade to the Leash which I enjoyed using for 4 years and it didn't disappoint. Solidly built with decent hardware, thoroughly enjoying the quick release as always. Definitely pricier than average for a strap but the build quality and the lifetime warranty makes it all worthwhile.

Great strap!
I was reluctant to use the system due to the connector to the camera until I looked at a friend's system. After that I never looked back. Removing the strap when storing my equipment has made everything easier.

Safe, secure, and action ready
This is what drew me to Peak Design. I've always disliked using the strap that came with my camera because its size forced me to wear it around my neck. The sling-style carry that this strap allows is 100% better! Keeps the camera ready for use but out of the way and secure. I considered the full-size Slide because of the extra padding, but I really like that I can roll the Slide Lite up and stash it easily. I use a full frame DSL-R and comfort with this strap has not been an issue.

Not great
I have purchased both a Slide and a Slide Lite to carry a mirror-less camera (depending on the lens I have attached. Slide Lite for the 24-200mm zoom and smaller, and the Slide for the 100-400mm Zoom Telephoto) and I am very pleased with the Slide/Tele combination I have found the Slide to be less than desirable. Whereas the Slide webbing is somewhat soft and flexible the Slide Lite webbing is stiffer. The web to plastic snap buckle is different as well. And it is a combination of these two factors that makes all the difference. When lifting the camera up to shoot on the Slide Lite the webbing (which is looped directly through plastic buckle) the two sides of looped webbing split apart and interfere with my view through the camera viewfinder making photos (especially vertical shots) problematic. I had to add a fat small diameter piece of rubber (sliced form a bike inner tube) to prevent this action. However, it is a poor work-around as this now prevents me from easily adjusting strap length, but it is better because it doesn't interfere with the shooting flow. This problem doesn't happen on the Slide, as the strap loops are further from the camera and the flexible webbing allows the strap to fall away from the viewfinder. I find now that I leave Slide on the camera most of the time although it is overkill for when I am using the smaller lenses. In summary, I wish the designers would have used softer webbing and similar leather couplings at the plastic buckle of the Slide on the Slide Lite.

Great piece of kit
I was looking for a strap that I could trust and had flexibility for different types of shoots. The Slide Lite is great, the anchor system works really well and it's easy to interchange during shoots. Exactly what I needed

Excellent!
I have butter fingers and I needed something to ensure I didn't drop my camera. Attaching the strap is super easy and it really was a help as I took my camera around a museum, changing film, and around a hilly park. I'm definitely buying more of the system!

Impressive!
I bought this a couple of weeks ago in anticipation of taking my new camera on vacation and I am so pleased. This strap is fantastic and beats all of the others I have purchased along the way. The slide lite is the perfect size for my Nikon Z7II with 24-70 f2.8 lens. The sliding feature is very easy to use and very secure. Easy to transition to multiple different ways of carrying the camera. The anchors are strong and secure - something I was a little apprehensive about, but it feels very secure for now. Would highly recommend.

Slide Lite Review
Purchased 6 months ago and has been flawless. I use this strap with my Sony Alpha 7C II. Durability, comfort, function and appearance are all deserving of 5 stars.

So far the best camera strap I've used.
In short, the PD Slide Lite is the best camera strap I've ever used. Its solid quality can withstand most heavy gears (for me, it is a Sony A7RV, 28-70 f2.8 G master lens, and an LED flash). It's comfortable and very easy to switch postures. One thing need to be aware of is the weight. It's considerably heavier than most straps. When storing it with your camera and other gear in a backpack or suitcase, you would like to detach it from your camera and fold it well so the extra buckle and connector would not scratch your other equipment.

A wonderful, wonderful product.....
I bought this ahead of a wildlife watching trip (borrowed one from a friend to test out before that). I can't praise the design and construction enough. It is durable and works exactly as stated in the description. The carrying position - especially lots of walking with a heavy camera set-up - is perfect and save stress top the neck, shoulder and back caused by std camera straps. The camera sits on the hip, with weight distributed across the body, but access is quick and easy when needed.
