Outdoor Research Phosphor Mitten
The Phosphor Down Mitts are the ultimate cold-weather hand protection. Made with water-resistant, breathable two-layer GORE-TEX® WINDSTOPPER® fabric, these mitts utilize RDS-certified 650-fill down for superior warmth. Water-resistant synthetic suede palms with a fleece backer add extra durability and protection, and they're lightweight and compressible and pack down small when not in use. A pull-on loop makes putting them on easy, even in frigid temperatures, and the glove clip keeps them close by. For mitts that will keep hands warm and protected in frigid conditions, look no further than the Phosphor Down Mitts.

Seemed too cozy
Came out of the package better than expected. Light, super warm, and soft. But... the XL was too snug. I don't have the largest hands in the world, but they fit a little small. I like to have a liner under mittens for quick use of fingers in the cold. Had to return them. However, if you don't have big hands, these would be fantastic.

Perfect mitts for around town!
Mitts are super warm and comfortable. My wife loves them and these are her second pair! First ones, bought several years ago, are still going strong too! She just wanted another pair because she likes them so much.

5 stars
I have bad circulation which makes for some painful hands come winter in Minnesota. A friend recommended these and I can't thank him enough - my hands have stayed warm all winter. They look great and aren't bulky at all. I suggest sizing up 1 size.

XL is not fitting as a XL
I wish these would come in a XXL as the XL are not big enough. I usually wear a L but sized up to make sure they were not tight. The are great otherwise but do not keep my hands warm and the thump is really tight. Can't return them as I thought they would loosen up with wear. I would recomend to size up 2 sizes for a comfortable warm fit. Needs improvement.

XL is still way too small
I don't have particularly large hands. Usually a size L glove is perfect. The XL in these mitts is still really small and definitely too tight for a mitt that you only need when it is really cold out (I live in Alaska). Tight mitts/gloves are not warm. I would order an XXL if there was one, as these seem like a good product. If you have small hands they will probably work for you.

Warmest mittens I've ever owned
Hands down the warmest mitten around. From the coldest days to rainy and dreary days, my hands are toasty and dry. Worth every penny!

Warm Mitts
These Phosphor Down Mitts are cozy. There is only one thing I'd change/add; 1. add a little nose-wipe patch. Let's face it, when it's freezing cold you don't want to have to take off your mittens to dig in your pockets for a tissue. There is nearly zero dexterity when you have these mitts on, but they are super warm.

Exactly as advertised
Lightweight yet does the job on all but the coldest days. I am extremely happy with the purchase and also consider these mitts to be excellent value for the money.

I live in a region that is great for skiing and hiking and these mitts have been very comfortable and warm during the winter months.

Excellent mitts!
These mitts are great! I have Raynaud's and I find that they keep my hands really warm. The mitts are also very well made. They've held up to months of walking with my two dogs who both like to pull a lot. They are showing basically no wear, whereas other mitts I've had seem to fall to pieces after a few weeks.
