Finally found shoes that fit well
My teen has wide feet and has been frustrated and in pain when the narrow Nikes he loves the look of, pinch his feet. We went to our local New Balance store where they fit him in this pair of shoes. He has finally found a pair of shoes that fits great and looks good.

Long slow distance shoe
Feels soft and is a great shoe. Only bad thing is it's not a fast shoe. Which is fine for easy/ long stuff but its hard to fast stuff

Best Cushioned Version Yet
Added cushion in V13 was very noticeable. Much improved! Most comfortable version yet.

Great Walking Shoe
I am recovering from a total knee replacement. My running days are over. But walking is my primary form of exercise. I am also a large man at 6’-5” and 250lbs. For my purposes, the 1080 v13 is an ideal shoe. No doubt it is cushy—I used a Bondi 8 before. This is a much softer shoe and I welcome it. The upper allows for as snug a fit as you desire, just cinch up the laces to your desired tension. I see a lot of UT vids where elite runners complain that it’s too soft for speed work. Duh! Don’t use any max cushion shoe for that. But for walking (and probably slow running) this shoe is a dream.

Online ordering sucks... shoe isn't bad.
I ordered the same shoe I had before and it's not as comfortable. Buying online sucks but the shoe is still good.

1080 V12 and 13. Try before you buy!
This is my 6th pair of 1080s. With V12, NB changed something in the toebox. When I wear the shoes, it feels like my socks are bunching under my toes. The 1080 V13 have the same problem for me, but not as bad as the V12s. The foam sole remains the shoes main selling point. It feels like you are walking on clouds. The soles and weight of the shoe are excellent. That said, the discomfort from the toebox will have me looking at alternatives to NB for the first time in 25 years. Too bad!

Marshmallow Comfort
Very comfortable. I usually wear a 9.5 for most brands but size 10 for NB for a great fit.
