Great for hot summers
These shorts are the perfect weight for brutal Arizona summers and the only reason I gave 4 stars is because there are no back pockets! Gotta have a back pocket

9" inseam next time please
Really wish this came in a 9" inseam. If so it would be as great as the Yucca Canyon shorts from a few years back. Those were the best most versatile shorts I have ever had.

Perfect summer time short
I absolutely love these shorts. Amazing for cruising around on a warm day but also stylish enough to wear around town. They do seem to run a tad small, at least in the thighs. I'm 5'10 180lbs and I normally can wear a 32 in everything but in these I own one pair in 34 and in 33. A 32 was not possible to get into. The waists actually are the same size, with the 34 being a tad looser in the thigh where as the 33 is tighter in the thigh. 34 is a tad longer. But the waists are identical. Hope this review helps. I can guarantee you won't find a more comfortable short once you get the sizing dialed in.

New hiking shorts
Lightweight and comfortable. Perfect fit. Secure zip pocket at left thigh isn't useful. Stored items rub against thigh and limit motion.

Almost Perfect
Very good lightweight shorts. Fit a little small. I’m 5’9” 170 and the 34 waist is the best fit for me. They would be perfect if they had some sort or loop for attaching a carabiner. I understand removing all the belt loops to save weight, but I found myself missing somewhere to clip my keys.

They are great
Ok I love these shorts. Not sure what is so awesome about these except they are very light. .
