Perfect lightweight jacket

Love this jacket. I am a size medium but a small fits perfect. It is lightweight and quiet. Sleeve length is longish, which is perfect for me. Color is vibrant, which is so better than all the boring muted colors out there now.

Feathers move right out of shoulder and armpit area after wearing for a few hours

I bought this jacket just 3 1/2 weeks ago; I love the colour, and the fit was perfect for me. After two weeks, I noticed my shoulders were freezing cold. When I held it up to the light, there were NO feathers at all in either shoulder. I also discovered there were basically no feathers under my armpits, either. I have shaken it, put it in a good dryer on 'air only' and fluffed it up somewhat, but I'm SO disappointed. Just in the process of figuring out if I will return it or exchange for another jacket.

Love everything but NOISY

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I love the pattern of this jacket—that horizontal stitching on puffers can be so unflattering! But this is actually really noisy. I’m debating keeping it bc I love everything else about it. Very strange.

Just ok..

Not at all as warm as I expected. Fabric is scratchy. However It does pack down small and it is stretchy.

Interesting material/color.

Great material. I get compliments every time I wear it. I usually wear a large, but the sleeves are long enough that the medium fits well. It's a beautiful color, the perfect weight warmth for most winter days in northern CA.

Lighweight, packable down

Pros: beautiful color and styling, nice lightweight but warm Cons: sleeves 3 inches too long for me (ordered size small) and the jacket is rather noisy, making crinkling sounds as I move around in it. I decided to send it back since the sleeves were just way too long on me.

My second one

I had bought this same Jacket two years ago and was looking for another one because I liked it so much. Still love the quality but the sizing seems a bit different. The sleeves are now too long and it is a bit longer on the hips. Liked my old one better.

Coat Came Damaged- Come on Backcountry!

I ordered this in purple. The coat came damaged. You could see it through the bag. There is a slice in the pocket seem. I contact Jazmin through the Chat app. She established a return and was helpful. Just super frustrating to receive a noticeably damaged coat, spend 20m to get the return set up, repackage and now go to USPS to do the return. I still have no coat and a lot of my time running around. I gotta ask what sort of quality check is done prior to items being shipped? About the coat- the Purple is a nice grape color and not shiny. You will not be able to get it in purple, since I was told it is now out of stock. If you do get one check for a slice in the pocket. Warmth- The coat in definitely for layering or for Fall or Spring. Sizing-I would say it ran true to size if not a little large.

Good mid layer

Comfortable and slightly roomy jacket. It’s pretty lightweight but makes a good midlayer

Pretty good- except for the pockets.

I like this jacket overall, but the zip hand pockets are only 5.5” wide. Not wide enough for hand or a phone. Anything I put in them falls out. And I have a size X-LARGE. It’s like they didn’t grade the pockets to be wider from a XX SMALL. Also- I’m surprised there is no inside zip chest pocket either. Other than those things, I like all the other features.
