Decent but not great.
All in all, these don't have a bad design, they just aren't perfect for any activity. I've used them over the last 6 months in multiple environments and activities including ice climbing, rock climbing (belaying), backcountry skiing, driving, hiking, etc. Pro: warm to weight ratio, retains insulation capabilities when wet, comfortable, nimble Cons : Gets wet VERY quickly, not very durable Conclusion: Too warm/think to be an effective liner, not protected from the elements enough to be a standalone in the backcountry. The ideal use for these is winter driving.

Overall, I think these gloves are excellent. They are primarily a wool glove, which means they punch a little bit above their weight in terms of warmth, but are also pretty breathable. They aren't ideal in highly windy conditions, because they are slightly porous. They've worked well for me even when they get a little bit wet, since wool maintains its ability to insulate even under wet conditions. And the palm, along with the tip of the index finger and thumb, have a nice leather finish for extra grip. The one issue is durability. I'm on my second pair now, as the wool slowly delaminates from the inner liner in high-wear areas, especially where I have held the edges of skis. But I did get two seasons of pretty constant use out of my first pair, so I can't complain too much.

Great gloves
Typical amazing Mammut construction. Touch screen friendly is no brainer and works well. Wool is nice, gloves are warm and do the trick. Thank you!

I bought these in a brick and mortar store kind of on a whim. I took them up a winter trip up Mt Whitney mountaineers route. My crampons were sliding off my boot causing me fits, so I was trying to work with those (the straps require dexterity) and somewhere between that and putting my hands on the occasional rock (it was mostly snow covered), the index fingers both wore through the exterior exposing some inner layer, and a bit on the middle finger. This use has also basically torn off the index finger phone screen touch layer. To be fair to these gloves I don't think they're made for that kind of use. On the other hand, when you put these things on they're so soft and warm feeling you kind of just want to have them on all the time. Also, when they do get wet they continue to be reasonably warm. In the sun (like hanging from the outside of my pack) they dry out fast. I think for most people these will be nice down to the 15-30F range (a lot depends on how much heat you're generating, now windy it is, etc). I think if you don't beat on them, you'll probably love them, and you'd give them 5 stars. If you're the kind of person like me that as a kid often came home from playing outside with your clothes half destroyed, they might not be for you unless you have already grown up some. I have not.

Best wool gloves ever
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Truly enjoy these gloves. My hands are actually warmed the moment I put them on. They work with my touch screen devices as well. I measured my hand as recommended (do not measure tight but relaxed) and they truly do fit like a glove. The value is worth the price.

Surprisingly versatile gloves
Bought them for ski touring and they quickly took over as my go-tos for dog walks and cross country skiing too. They fit a bit big but extra space helps get them back on when they're wet out skiing, and they're still warm when wet. I often don't even switch into ski gloves during a full day on the mountain. My fingers have worn thin and I'm due for a replacement of the same, but they don't owe me anything.

Best day gloves ever!
I have issues with gloves. Finding a pair that fits and then are warm enough and don't fall apart is a challenge. The Passion gloves tick all those boxes and they are smart enough you can wear them casually too! Get a pair, do it, right now!

Love these gloves
Incredible versatile. Good warmth for a range of activities. Surprisingly windoroof while also being breathable. Pull loops are a nice touch. Would buy these any time I can find them.

Odd stitching
I'm now on my second pair after a few years. Overall, they have a great mix of dexterity and warmth for short stints outside and cold but not crazy cold conditions. The wool really helps regulate and take the edge off the cold. They've been my go-to all winter for driving/errands and walks when not super cold. After a couple seasons the stitching around the wrist began to come out. This is where I tend to grab them when pulling them on, but still disappointing to happen in the first few months of use. My second pair, however, is disappointing. The stitching seems a bit off on one of the pointer fingers, so it is narrower and tighter around the end of that finger. They still work, but it is annoying and likely to cause that finger to be colder and hinders dexterity.
