Comfortable Hiking Boot
These fit great out of the box, although I developed a blister on one of my bunions from doing two longer walks on consecutive days. They are just a little stiff but I'm trying to break them in before a hiking trip coming up in a few weeks. I think that they will be great on the trail, and I'm very pleased with them overall.

Keens Deliver
Love Keens for the square toe box and these hiking boots are a great fit. Looking forward to hitting the trails.

Ankle support!
Bought this at the Portland location. Had a very helpful sales guy helped me down narrow my choice between the Targhee boots. Suggested if I'm a 7.5 to size down. Tried the boots and they fit perfectly. I tested them out back in the Santa Cruz mountains, and they did the job well! These are my second pair of Keens! Hoping for more in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This boot had a nice feel to it. It is a tiny bit bigger than my normal size, but the width is great!

Not as good
I have worn the Targhee boots for years. They are the only thing I wear unless it is something formal. I must say that these however are a disappointment. They are stiff and rough feeling and do not seem to fit my foot as well. Not comfortable at all, which is a big difference from all of the pairs I have had in the past.

The only boots I'll ever wear.
I had my last pair of Keens for fifteen years before getting this new pair of Targhee IIs. I had a VERY hard time throwing out the old ones, because they were a literal part of my feet at that point, and technically, they were still fine in almost every way. I just *wanted* a new pair. That's all. But I bet, with some adjustments, my old pair could have lasted another decade. These things are by far the most comfotable boots I've ever worn; the new ones almost immediately felt just like the old, well worn ones, and they're built to outlast cockroaches and nuclear winter. I've tried many times, with many brands, to see if there was anything out there that could rival this quality with a better price point, and even spent MORE on other brands thinking, "surely ANYONE can do even better, or even just as well...?" Answer: Nope. Keens are the absolute best. I'll wear them until I die.

Perfect!
After seeing that National Geographic rated this hiker as number one for women’s hikers, I gave them a go. They lived up to the ranking! Super light, very comfortable, and waterproof. I hope they last as long as my other keenes have!

Good shoe not slip proof
Fit is comfortable and it's comfortable for wearing when working. I am volunteering at an animal shelter and I got these shoes because I thought they would be slip proof but they are not. I'm actually thinking about returning them.

I love these!
I do landscaping and these hold up with hours of work on them. They are wide enough for my wide feet and lightweight.
