Compact filtration
I like this item because the bag can be rolled into a super small package. The biggest part it the filter itself, it fits in my hiking pack well and has been added to my water filtration arsenal

Good Filter
It's very good - I do wish the opening was a bit bigger to help collect water faster. I like that the filters are exchangeable between models.

Good travel companion
I had a great experience using this filter when I traveled abroad for two weeks. It is very easy to use. I like how easy it is to clean the filter. I didn’t have any issues with leaking. You can drink straight from the mouth piece or fill up another water bottle. It has a nice oval hole which you can use to hang it. I plan to continue using my filter for future backpacking and travel trips.

Filtering water at basecamp
I bought this for backpacking trips that involve setting up a basecamp for a few nights. I like that the included 3.0L bladder allows you to fill it up and then walk back to camp before filtering your water. I found the filter rate to be reasonably fast and would fill up a water bladder or bottles fairly quickly. It can also be used Creekside to fill up your bottle before moving on, or in areas with very little available water you can fill up your bottles and then carry it full of 3 liters to your camp site and filter the water later as needed.

So far...
Used it once on a 7 mile hike. Dipped into a swampy stream with lots of dissolved organic matter, yet the filtered water had a likable taste. Can't beat the packability!

Super easy to use
Can't get more simple to use. Just fill it up and let gravity do the work. It's a lot more convenient than a pump or a grayl.

So far so good
Used the 3L on two multi day backpacking trips and it worked great. First trip was below freezing and although I did a rookie maneuver and let the filter freeze the bag stayed pliable and still works as advertised. Second trip was during the summer months and performed flawless. In my opinion, a Much better option than the sawyer squeeze as they have failed on me several times.

Filtered all out water for 11 days for 3 people. Super lightweight and compact. Filtered water super fast. The filter is really easy to clean. Love it. Gravity is the way to go. I'll never go back to a pump filter.

Awesome, lightweight, low labor water filter
Love this filter. I have used it several times while backpacking and hunting. It is great for passively filtering water at camp. It will filter the whole 3L in just a couple minutes, maybe less. When I am setting up camp, I pull this out, fill it up from a nearby water source, hang it, drop the dripper in a nalgene bottle or other water container (I use a saywer 1 gallon bladder thingy) and continue on with camp setup. Before I know it, its empty, and ready for more. I have filtered some very dirty stream water, and came out great, and didn't get sick. I once camped with another group that had a drip filter from another brand, and that thing took forever. This is way faster, and the convenience of being able to clean the filter without backwashing is amazing. The hose has a stopper, so you pause the flow if you wish to fill up multiple smaller containers. The last time I used this, my hiking buddy had the Hiker Pro, and he was able to filter faster that this could, but it was heavier, bulkier, and had to actively work to filter. Something like that would likely be a better choice if you aren't as concerned with weight, and want to stop on the trail and filter more often, allowing you to carry less water at once. Anyway, this is one of my favorite pieces of gear I have. Never thought I would say that about a water filter.
