Hate these. Too loose fitting.
I have hiking sandals I use that are heavy so I thought I'd get these since I like their tennis shoes and I like the fact there is mesh over the shoe protecting my feet but I was so disappointed when I got these. I ordered my regular size 9.5 but the shoe is just very loose fitting no matter how tight I tighten the top laces and the thing that Velcros in the back of the ankle will not make it tight either so it's a loose fitting shoe. If you try to tighten the back strap the material will bunch up at the back of the heel. I cannot go down a size either since my toes go to the end of the shoe. I don't see how this can be used for serious walking since it's loose fitting. Honestly it's more of a comfort shoe to wear around the house but it's too expensive for that.

So comfortable and nice color
Bought these shoes for Sister. She has been wearing Hoka shoes for years but was not aware of Hopara 2. She now has a pair that she can walk securely and comfortably in water along the beach or step into a stream along hiking trails.. She also loves the color with feminine purple touch.

I love these cool summer shoes
I have loved my Hoka sneakers for years. I have just had hip surgery and needed really good and supportive cool summer shoes too. I love my Hoka sandals. They fit perfectly and give me great support. I do wish it was easier to slip into them. More colors would be great too so I could have several pair.

Finally a shoe that doesn't hurt!
I have a severely torn achilles tendon that has made wearing shoes a terrible experience.... until now! A shoe and sandal in one - brilliant! Now all I need is the other colors!

I would buy Hopara II again
I really like the mesh they allow my feet to breathe and I don't overheat in them I do love my Hopara I as well it's nice to have a choice. I am on my feet 10 hours a day and suffer from arthritis and neuropathy that is sometimes crippling Hoka saves the day . Again.

Stylish but uncomfortable
Excited to get the shoes but they were not comfortable. The design on the bottom was abrasive to my foot. Shoes were returned. Still waiting on my refund.

Exceeded expectations!
I bought these because I like my Hoka recovery sandals and running shoes. I was looking for a better shoe to wear for a canoeing and camping trip in the BWCA. There are all conditions - gravel, rocks, grass and water. I wore them on a test hike and these shoes exceeded my expectations! They were comfy while walking and gave me good stability when walking over wet, slippery rocks. I took the advice from other reviews and bought a half size smaller than my running shoes. This was good advice as my foot fits like Cinderella's in the glass slipper. I did get a blister but didn't even notice for several hours after I got home.
