Why We Like The Grundens Downrigger GORE-TEX Jacket
We like Grundens' best-selling Downrigger GORE-TEX Jacket for its bombproof exterior and moisture-wicking interior. That's thanks to its 2-layer GORE-TEX construction with the durably waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection of a GORE-TEX membrane backed by a moisture wicking liner for better breathability and next-to-skin comfort. New for 2023, the Downrigger has also added neoprene inner sleeve cuffs that are made to prevent water from running down our sleeves when we reach into the water to land a fish. That just adds another level of angler-friendly weather protection to this best seller.

Great coat small sleeves
I use the jacket for hunting in conjunction with wading pants. When sitting glassing I typically put a puffy jacket on underneath for warmth , but the sleeves are a little tight to wear over a puff coat. Not a fan of the neoprene sleeves, but that’s a personal preference.
