I have a Gregory 28L and love it for my day hikes. I needed a new backpacking bag and decided to stick with Gregory and glad I did. Very comfortable, good support, nice placement on pockets and straps. Side zipper to access the length of the bag is nice.

Great bag, useless raincover
I want to start by saying that I am a loyal Gregory Backpack user. I just purchased this bag so that my sister could use my old one to try backpacking. The new hip belt design is great and the adaptability is amazing as always. My one issue is that the raincover that came with the bag is ridiculous and pretty much useless. It doesn't even cover the whole bag with it full, and there is no way you could fit a tent in too if it's strapped to the bottom of your pack. I couldn't even get the strap clipped. Like why even bother including it guys! If you are purchasing this bag because it comes with the raincover, you'll be disappointed. You're gonna have to buy a raincover.

Best Pack for Women's Multi Day Hiking
I got this hike for an eight day backpacking trip and had no issues stowing all my gear in an organized way. The extra functions of the sunglass strap, external pocket straps, and the water bottle stash pocket were awesome. I was surprised that the S-M was the right size for me at 5'10" - it's very easily adjustable on the fly. The hip straps and pockets made it a very comfortable carry. I loved that the rain fly was included. Only feedback was the waist pockets are large but not large enough for a iPhone max but honestly unless I'm taking photos I don't really want my phone around that much anyway!

This pack worked great for me on a recent four day backpacking trip. I didn't have the fanciest/smallest/lightest gear, so the extra room was useful to bring everything I needed. I love how customizable the fit is, though it was hard to get it dialed in at first. This pack comes with a rain cover that worked pretty well too - I hiked in a downpour for 10 miles, and the rain cover paired with a cheap poncho kept everything inside pretty dry.

Great Pack!
I spent a long time not buying Gregory due to some bad packs in my youth. But the Maven has been great. Lots of space (although, it seems smaller than its 65 advertised size). Plenty of expansion, room for gear, extra pockets, accessible water bottles and other extras. My only knock is the adjustable frame seems a little off. We have the harness buried behind the back padding and it’s still a bit too tall. It’s supposed to be about a 15–16 measured multiple times, and we have it down to where it’s a 14 on the Gregory scale and we’re still not getting great harness angels.

Very comfortable to wear! I have used it on a few day hikes with full gear while training for my first solo overnight trip and of course it worked perfectly for my solo trip

Can carry a load!
I bought this backpack to handle more weight for when I carry 'family' gear on our backpacking trips. I had this pack with 48 lbs (I am 5'2" and 130 lbs) for a family backpack trip at Picture Rocks, MI. Due to our daughter being young and not able to carry as much, I needed a backpack that could take on all of my items plus many of my daughters. While 48 lbs was heavy, this pack was as comfortable as possible with the extra weight.

Great Pack for the price, full of features
The side entry pocket is nice, but it would be better to have a full U or J zip to access more of the inside of the bag. Other than that the pack is awesome, packed full of features and very affordable!
