Inaccurate Sizing Leads to a Poor Fit

I ordered a size 34" because I typically wear a 33" in other jeans, but these barely fit me. The sizing is so inaccurate that I will be returning them.

Seam causes strong disconfort just above the knee

I was very excited to get this trousers, one of the very few that are ventilated, light, aimed for hot weather and with minimal design and pockets (walking with stuff in cargo is not recommended ). Unfortunately a seam on the front of the trousers between the thigh and the knee that causes discomfort when walking uphill or climbing stairs makes it a very poor choice for me. By manually reducing this thigh length of the trousers, the seam is then placed sufficiently above the knee and no longer causes discomfort. I am 1m73 tall, size 32 Regular. I wouldn't recommend this product for anyone under 1m75. Without that seam, The trousers would probably be a 4 or 5 stars :-(

Could be tougher for backcountry use

I purchased this last month from an authorized retailer. I love the look, the fit, weight. I just had a fluke tumble and fall on a slippery grass this morning and tore a small hole on the knee, which I was very surprised to find, as it was NOT a hard fall, and there was hardly any jagged material that could have caused significant damage to the area. I haven't even taken them out to backcountry yet so I am a bit disappointed that it was so easily torn.

Perfect

If you’re like me and dislike shorts, these are the pants for you. I wear these when I can’t wear my Vidda Pro Lite’s. Anywhere from 80 degrees Fahrenheit and higher. Perfection.

I have multiple pairs of Fjallraven trousers and these have to be my favorite pair to date!
