Why We Like The Free 97 Ski
The Free 97 Ski enters Dynafit's freetouring collection with perhaps the most versatile backcountry ski that Dynafit has to offer. It rides any snow condition with equal tenacity, and it's light enough for us to hike the highest mountains in the Wasatch. If big mountains are inaccessible, the Free 97 still serves us well when we're riding powder in trees down low. Beyond the treeline, it rides all the steep chutes and icy peaks we have our eyes on come spring.

Great Workhorse
I use this ski as my daily work ski. I use it with a Rotation 12 binding and its has never given me any problem even though abuse it on a daily basis. Light on the uphill and effective on the downhill, it works very well as an all around.

Great Daily Driver
I bought these skis last winter. I skied them in almost every condition from wind buff to chalk, to pow and they perform great in all conditions. Fantastic all around ski.
