My favorite hiking & everyday summer pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these pants! I am 5’0 95 lbs and bought these in size 4 short for winter to give a little room to layer underneath. I usually buy these pants in size 2 for a more fitted style. Short length is good for my size. Love the material- its quick dry, light, stain & water resistant. These are my favorite pants to hike in! Love being able to zip off bottoms to convert to shorts during summer.

Fits exactly as pictured!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read and re-read the reviews and figured I would roll the dice and try these and I am glad I did! They’re perfect! Even ordered another pair this morning. I would advise you to take a good look at the size and shape of the model in the product image. I am built about the same and the parts fit just like in the photo. If you have larger thighs or hips, I can see where that might be an issue. For me, it wasn’t. The length was even great. I’m 5’7” with longer legs, but these worked!

Sizing very off
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm normally a size 6 and had to get a 10 in these to fit in the legs, but the waist is low and wide, so I'd need a belt. The pants are not lined and the zip-off area above the knee would certainly irritate my legs as I'm hiking. Definitely not worth the price, in my opinion. I have the earlier version of these Saturday Trail pants with no zip-off (just a roll-up with tab) and I love them, but these are not a suitable replacement for those. Disappointed with these and returned.

They run really small in the waist.
I ordered these pants in 2 different sizes, 4 and 6, since I usually wear a 4 in all brands but wanted to make sure I had some that fit for an upcoming trip. The pants are really nice, but the 4 and even the 6 were significantly small in the waist. I wonder if all Columbia pants are smaller in the waist than other brands?

Perfect for wildlife photography and travel!
I bought 3 pairs of these pants for a wildlife photography trip to Botswana, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. They were perfect. Light weight, breathable, dried fast, easy to pack. They came in sizes with “Long” inseams which I definitely need and is not easy to find. These pants performed so well that I purchased an additional 3 pairs for a wildlife photography trip to Brazil’s Pantanal. Again, these pants did not disappoint. I wish they came in more colors although British Tan/khaki worked for my purposes.

Great purchase!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am usually very weary of ordering pants without trying them on and these pants are very true to size.

My second pair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable and good fit. Perfect for travel. Runs small. I’m usually size 6-8. I bought size 10 and it’s perfect!

DO NOT BUY!
DO NOT BUY THESE PANTS!!! The description for these pants said their use is for hiking. The first time I wore them hiking I came home with many snags on the pant legs, especially near the bottom. They are NOT suitable for hiking in natural areas. Only paved surfaces. This fabric sticks on everything when you are hiking.

Thigh Zips Too Small
Bought a size up knowing the thigh zippers always run small. Standing the pants fit fine, plenty of room around the thigh zippers, but as soon as I squat down circulation is cut off.

Best Hiking Pants!
These are the BEST hiking pants! The reason why is 1: they are convertible and 2: they cinch at the bottom which makes it possible to since over your hiking boots to avoid getting ticks and your ankles brushing on poison ivy, which is so important! Plus, they are the only columbia pant that comes in inseam "Short" which is great for petites. My only issue is that the women's & men's color options are not the same, colors my husband needs women's have and colors like the men's blue, women's doesn't have which I need. This pant is much better than the Silver Ridge and wish this pant came in the colors the Silver Ridge has. I hope this isn't getting discounted since I need to rebuy after having these for over a decade.
