Why We Like The Cervelo P5 Ultegra Di2 Road Bike
The P5 Ultegra Di2 Road Bike excels in speed, handling, and agility thanks to Cervelo’s years of experience in engineering the fastest aero bikes with real-world feedback from pro athletes to make a bike that pushes the limit in every possible way. This is the bike we want for time trials and triathlons alike, thanks to its Cervelo All-Carbon fork and frame construction with aerodynamic shaping, comfortable armrests, and a newly designed one-piece front end. This user-friendly aerobar system is easily adjustable to various positions with a riser that increases tilt adjustability from 0 to 30 degrees in a 5-degree increment so we can customize our fit precisely as we need, and the integrated cable management hides brake and shift cables from the wind without compromising usability or performance.
On this Cervelo P5 model, we are gifted with the incredible advantage of electronic shifting with the trustworthy, intuitive Shimano Ultegra Di2 12-speed drivetrain. The combination of the 52/36t chainrings and 11-30t cassette provides ample gearing ratios to tackle any course with complete confidence in our setup while ensuring every bit of our power is efficiently transferred with an optimal balance of stiffness, strength, and rotational performance. However, no matter how many watts we can crank out, we need a wheelset that can keep up and take us past our comfort zone, so Cervelo opted for the high-performance Reserve 52|63 carbon wheelset for predictable handling, advanced aerodynamics, and incredible stability.
