Best Beach Walkers

I’m not. runner, but Cascadia is a fabulous beach-walking shoe. All the stabilization of my Addiction shoes, plus the GoreTex liner keeps the sand out. Barefoot walking is not an option for me, because I have to walk a block to the beach, then walking on firm sand gave me plantar fasciitis. Thanks to Cascadia I can walk my dogs on the beach with happy feet.

Too narrow

I like the grip and the fact that they're waterproof, BUT these shoes are way too narrow. I could hardly get them on my feet much less even walk around the block to try them out. Very disappointed since my Brooks runners have always fit me perfectly in a regular width, and these aren't available in wide.

So far so good

Feels strong, grip is good, haven’t tried out on a steep incline, hoping to get that done soon. Biggest tip- for women at least- order up -I am a solid 6.5 in Brooks, and I had to go up to 7.5 to have these feel right. Esp in the toe box area.

good all rounder

Comfortable to wear and was one of few brands that has waterproofing, looks like runner shoe and can be used for hiking and running and has good colours

Runs 1/2 size too small

I usually wear a 7 1/2 so that’s what I bought. They seem tight in the width of the meta tarsal area. I’ve tried to loosen them as I’ve worn them but my feet feel like they are constricted. Size up. Love the color and firmness of the shoe

Sizing not accurate.

Had to return these as they were so narrow compared to the exact same size I have in several other designs of Brooks trainers. Struggled to even get my feet in them.

Nope

Very hard sole when you walk. Not much cushion. Is water proof but I returned them because hurt my feet when I walked in them.

Toe box is too wide.

The shoe didn't 't work for me. The toe box is wide and my foot is not; my foot moved around in the shoe while I was hiking. My ankle was swollen afterwards. Just not a good fit for me.
