The Brooks Canopy Jacket gives us lightweight weather protection with plenty of packability. The fabric is designed to seal out light moisture and wind, and it's highly breathable to release steamy moisture vapor and keep us drier on the run. The adjustable hood can also be stowed inside the collar while the whole jacket packs down into a built-in backpack, so we can stow-and-go and whip it out when the weather turns wet or windy.

Runs very small!
Have worn a previous version of this jacket and loved it. This one is made of the same fabric but it runs very small! It fit me at least a full size smaller than what I expected. Couldn’t even get it zipped, so I guess I’d have to order two sizes up to get this to fit over another layer. It also seemed cropped in length, which even as a petite person is something I can’t stand. Returning.

Do not recommend
Wanted to love this jacket, but after using it for a recent 24hr event, I was very disappointed that it did NOT provide any protection from the rain. The fitted hood worked great to protect from wind, but as soon as the rain rolled in, I was drenched and it was sticking to me. Had to ditch it within a few miles. Very frustrating.

Runs way too small
Ran really small. I ordered a large and it fit more like a small. Had to return.

Lightweight, doesn't feel too plastic-like but best for wind not more than drizzle
Lightweight and good for wind but not for anything more than light drizzle

Great jacket initially, fell apart after six months
This jacket was 5 stars until yesterday. I got the jacket six months ago to wear as a windbreaker and snow/rain repellant outer layer. Wore the jacket 2-3 times per week for the past six months and it worked great. Was a comfortable fit and was the perfect outer layer. Unfortunately after only six months yesterday the plastic teeth of the zipper started to come off of the fabric. Very dissappointed that the jacket I loved started to fall apart after such a short time, especially considering the original cost.

Very lightweight jacket perfect for travel with cool features
This jacket is tissue paper thin, which is exactly what I wanted for my upcoming trip to Greece. In addition to the zipper there are several snaps that can be used to keep the front sections closed without using the zipper. The detailing on the back is feminine and I like the way it looks. The entire jacket can be packed into itself and worn as a very tiny backpack, which should be useful. My biggest concern is that the zipper seems very lightweight & I worry about long-term durability...

Love love this item. Great for windy, rainy days. 2 snap buttons allow for great movement, and breeze.

Great Jacket
this is a great multipurpose jacket, it has been my new go to for the windy, rainy, and sometimes snowy New England spring. I always size up a jacket so I can layer it if I need to. I wore this jacket in very rainy conditions and nothing soaked through. Might even be my new summer hiking jacket

THE jacket for running in rain and wind
This is THE jacket for running in the rain. I had tried a rain jacket from Nike before this and it was so unbreathable it felt like wearing a trash bag. I really wanted a rain jacket that I wouldn’t sweat to death in. The canopy jacket is somehow breathable and yet keeps me dry in some pretty serious rain. It’s super soft and comfy to wear too. It has a lot of nice features like a little button to hold the hood down when you’re not wearing it and it’s really cool how it packs into a little back pack. It is very lightweight so when it’s cold out I wear a long sleeve under it and it keeps me very warm. Sizing wise, I’m 5’6” 135 lbs and I got a size M (I’m usually a small but I wanted to be able to layer under it) and it’s perfect. It doesn’t look baggy but I can comfortably fit a long sleeve under. I’m super glad I bought it and have never seen another rain/wind jacket for running like it.

Great jacket but size up
I listened to reviews and sized up. I’m normally a small and got a medium. I’m 5’2” 115lb and the medium fit perfect. I ran with the jacket on as well as it all folded up into a backpack. It was comfortable both ways. The jacket really blocked the wind which was super nice. Definitely recommend as long as you size up one.
