Arizona Platform Papillio Narrow Sandal - Women's

As part of Birkenstock's female-focused Papillio line, the Women's Arizona Platform Narrow Sandal takes a classic Birkenstock silhouette and infuses it with chic, feminine design elements to take its style and elegance to the next level. The sleek Birko-Flor upper provides modern style, while the suede footbed and cork midsole ensure a comfortable fit that conforms to your foot over time. It's finished off with a platform-height EVA outsole for cushy comfort and reliable traction.

Stiff sole, fall hazard.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:

I had high hopes for these—I’m a platform kind of gal—but they are so uncomfortable to walk in due to the stiff, totally motionless sole. There is no give at all, and several times I’ve wobbled/fallen to the side in them in way that could break an ankle or strain a foot muscle. I’m no stranger to Birkenstocks or wearing platforms. It’s this particular shoe that is the problem. Unfortunately regret this purchase.
