Essential protection, comfortable fit, Ventilation
Back and spine protection is very important for me and should be for all skiers. I always used one for racing continue to when running gates and more of what I do these days ski touring and Freeskiing. The issue for me hiking was back protectors retained so much heat. This design provides great protection with impressive ventilation and the zip up vest is a comfortable fit that feels unnoticeable. I’d suggest getting a size smaller than larger for a tight and right fit. It stretches and feels better on the snug side plus the protection on lower back fits best with the smaller sizing.

Works on a bike too
Wore this for the first time last week at my local downhill bike park. So glad I did, ultra comfy to the point that I forgot i had it on. Went off a jump and flipped right over landing on my back on a pile of rocks !! End result, clothes ripped, bike broken, cuts and bruises but my back.......... untouched. Amazing.
